No I don't think we are sepulating he is dead. Just that Chuck is the one that shoots him. But at this point we don't know why he comes back in 3.19. not likely but they could be flashback scenes he filmed. For all we know at this point they could end up taking Shaw away in a straight jacket. But from future spoilers it does seem at least chuck thinks he killed Shaw.
Shaw does something to Sarah because it is her hand on the ground and it looks like Shaw is checking to see if she has a pulse. So somebody does try to kill her. And we know he goes knife happy at some point. From the lighting of the cigar scene it looks like Casey is out there somewhere. Background behind him looks kind of the same. I would think in this episode Casey would do something to help him get his job back. that might not be true either because in 3.14 Morgan is the one in Castle that the general talks to. If it's Chuck who see's Sarah unconsious and checks for a pulse.....oh boy, Shaw you are getting Chuck'd. I really want a certain scene to happen, one of the images we see Chuck and Sarah in a elevator with Sheppard and friends, I so want a duel fight scene where C/S takes them all out but most of all, I want it done without Chuck flashing.
I am just gonna say it, I believe they tossed in a victory smoke by Casey because he is getting his job back this episode (no not a spoiler, just a strong belief) __________________
