Season two returns with fast-talking New Yorker Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson), whose carefully planned life as a cardio-thoracic surgeon in New York City somehow went awry. Zoe is now officially a general practitioner in tiny BlueBell, Alabama, where the neighbors take care of one another, the mailman knows your name, there’s a parade every Tuesday…but the townsfolk still aren’t quite sure what to make of Dr. Zoe Hart. Yet she won’t let that discourage her from being the best GP in the country.

Last season, arriving in quaint, picturesque Bluebell, Zoe warmed to town golden boy, George Tucker (Scott Porter), and clashed with Dr. Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson). Zoe’s presence will continue to cause friction with Brick’s daughter Lemon (Jaime King) -- the sweet southern belle that struggles to keep things civil with Zoe, especially after George calls off his wedding with Lemon, and all of BlueBell blames Dr. Hart.

Zoe lives in the guesthouse of her best friend and Bluebell’s mayor, Lavon Hayes (Cress Williams), her confidant and steadfast supporter. Next door, local bad-boy and mischievous charmer Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel) sparks a little fire within Zoe that leads to romance, despite the torch she carries for George.

General Spoilers;
Question: What does Zoe and Wade’s break-up on Hart of Dixie mean for George and Tansy? —Melissa
Ausiello: In the short term? It’ll bring them closer together. “I don’t think it’s going to fray their relationship,” ventures Scott Porter. “If anything, it gives them something else to bond over and to focus on outside of their relationship.” Rachel Bilson, however, suspects the show will eventually pull the trigger on George/Zoe on account of the fact that “we haven’t seen them together yet.” (Plus, there’s a scene later this season where even the local gossip columnist is buzzing about, as he puts it, a “Zeorge” romance!) Bonus Scoop: Dixie‘s season finale, titled “On the Road Again,” finds Zoe traveling back to the Big Apple (for reasons that are not immediately clear). [source]

Heather: I think we are owed some great Zade scoop, about them getting back together, right? Or Wade doing everything he can to win Zoe back? Please?
How about this for a juicy Hart of Dixie tease: Zoe will sleep with either George or Wade before the season finale. Boom. [source]

You better take it from me, that boy is like a disease
You’re running, you’re trying, you’re trying to hide
And you’re wondering why you can’t get free
He’s like a curse, he’s like a drug
You get addicted to his love
You wanna get out but he’s holding you down
‘Cause you can’t live without one more touch

He’s a good time cowboy casanova
Leaning up against the record machine
Looks like a cool drink of water
But he’s candy-coated misery
He’s the devil in disguise
A snake with blue eyes
And he only comes out at night
Gives you feelings that you don’t want to fight
You better run for your life

I see that look on your face
You ain’t hearing what I say
So I’ll say it again
'Cause I been where you been
And I know how it ends
You can’t get away
Don’t even look in his eyes
He’ll tell you nothing but lies
And you wanna believe
But you won’t be deceived
If you listen to me
And take my advice

He’s a good time cowboy casanova
Leaning up against the record machine
Looks like a cool drink of water
But he’s candy-coated misery
He’s the devil in disguise
A snake with blue eyes
And he only comes out at night
Gives you feelings that you don’t want to fight
You better run for your life

Run run away
Don’t let him mess with your mind
He’ll tell you anything you want to hear
He’ll break your heart
It’s just a matter of time
But just remember

He’s a good time cowboy casanova
Leaning up against the record machine
Looks like a cool drink of water
But he’s candy-coated misery
He’s the devil in disguise
A snake with blue eyes
And he only comes out at night
Gives you feelings that you don’t want to fight
You better run for your life

Oh you better run for your life
Oh you better run for your life

Does anyone else keep up with TV ratings. I'm wondering what will happen if The Carrie Diaries scores another 0.4. Does that make it likely to be cancelled? Just trying to judge on how good HOD season 3 renewal chances are

Yes I follow the ratings. So far things are looking good for HoD. TCD is probably done anyway unless they give it another shot. It may come down to BatB & TCD. HoD has the edge over both shows for syndication purposes.

LOL That could be.

I think Dixie has the best chances of renewal (steady ratings, views online, syndication potential)

Yeah, but how many songs have we heard that don't tie in to anything later. We've said that to ourselves often just in this short while. If that's how they want to justify what I didn't see on screen then I give up. No point watching attentively the episodes, just get the songs.

I don't pay any attention to the songs that are playing during the episodes. The only ones that might have any bearing are those that the episode titles are coming from. Some music guy or girl picks the music for the episodes not the writers. The writers are naming the episodes.

So we've probably discussed 217 but anyway here goes.

What are you looking forward to the most? What do you think will happen? What do you want to happen?

I want Zoe to be sad. It's okay if she pretens she doesn't care about the break up but alone, she can be sad.

And maybe Wade seeing Zoe and Jonah. I want him to realize how much his mistake was a mistake.

Looking forward to
- Rose Hattenbarger
- Wade's sad face (even though it hurts, it is still a favorite of mine)
- Reverend Mayfair coming to Wade's rescue
- WB and his excellent acting

What do I think will happen
- Zoe and Jonah kiss by the pool and Wade witnesses it
- Zoe kisses Jonah and decides she's not feeling it
- The arrival of Ruby Jeffries

What do I want to happen

- CONFIRMATION THAT WADE KINSELLA DID NOT CHEAT!
- LA having a scene with Wade (their banter is always a hoot -- although I understand that in this context, if Wade did cheat with LA, she will be the last person he wants to see)
- Lemon having a scene with Wade (I want them to have a chat before the hiatus, I don't think I can wait a month for some Lemonade Bromance)
- Zoe being a little more distraught about Wade cheating (I didn't see too much of it in the last episode to be fully convinced that she is extremely hurt over what Wade did)

Looking forward to the most:
  • The end of the episode. I have been dreading 215-217 for months. I'll be glad to see them over.
  • The George and Lemon scenes. I love these 2 together.

Think will happen:
  • Everyone is going to hate on Wade.
  • George and Lemon have a talk after their kiss and do the "never ever getting back together" talk
  • Zoe finally realizes that she can't remain numb and flips out at Wade at the end of the episode to tell him how much she hates him.
  • Zoe will think that Rose's boyfriend is messing around with Tonya
  • Wade may see Zoe with Jonah
  • End of episode Wade may come to some realizations about himself, but he'll still be a lying cheating bastard because the writers suck.

Want to happen:
  • For there to be a twist and Wade isn't a lying cheating bastard after all and just a drunken stupid idiot.
  • For Wade and Lavon to talk after the whole accusation thing

What are you looking forward to the most?
Nothing really.

What do you think will happen?
I think I won't like this episode at all

What do you want to happen?
I want the audience to know that Wade didn't cheat and all that last week crap was a big misunderstanding. Actually I want everyone to know that (including the whole town and Zoe) but I know that won't be the case... So

edit: Oh my bad. I am actually looking forward to G/L scenes. I love they will be sharing moments again. It's been awhile since the last time
