At least Rory is not happy with her mother's actions. It's time for someone to call Lorelai on her ****.
I hope Luke does in one of the "street fights" in ep 2

OT - I gotta be out of here soon for another 8 hours, damn real life!

You guys know what episode films when way better than me. I think Bootie is right, though - I think it was episode 5 when I went. And I'm sorry I don't have more about the bonfire and Luke. The guide didn't want to say too much. Sounded like most of the town was there, though, from what he was saying.

People do their best, especially with all the database errors. If you notice something missing from the first post, perhaps you could PM the thread-starter with the info and link. That would be helpful, thanks.

"I loves me some DOUBLE POSTING!" "WOO TO THE HOO!"

Now it's time for a SEASON SEVEN deleted scene.

INT. DRAGONFLY INN. DAY 1. [Michel and Sookie are seated at a table in the dining room. They are playing Battleship and both have determined looks on their faces.]

MICHEL [determined]: "You will not defeat me. You do not have what it takes to sink my mighty armada."

{Sookie gives Michel a steely glance}

SOOKIE: "B 12."

[Michel looks down at his ships laid out on the board before him. He slides his finger across his battleship and fills the empty hole where a peg will fit between the pegs to the left and right. He looks up to see the location of that middle missing peg, and it's B-12. Michel holds back a look of disappointment the best he can, because he knows that he has lost."

MICHEL [despondent]: "You have sunk...my battleship."

SOOKIE {pleased]: "What?"

MICHEL [slightly annoyed]: "You have sunk...my battleship."

[A wide smile comes across Sookie's face.]

SOOKIE: "What?"

MICHAEL {very annoyed]: "You insufferable woman! You have sunk my battleship! I am leaving now."

[Michel swiftly, stands up, and leaves the table. Sookie continues to smile.]

SOOKIE {elated]: "That's what you get for cheating at the game of LIFE last week!"

{Michel screams out from off camera.]

MICHEL: "I DID NOT CHEAT! That child was earned far and square."

[Sookie stands up and begins to move side to side.]

SOOKIE [singing]: "I SUNK YOUR BATTLESHIP! I SUNK YOUR BATTLESHIP! I...sunk...your BATTLESHIP!"

[END OF SCENE}

ETA: Lorelai is such a punk ***** in NAIL. It's not even funny. Not only does she screw over her daughter by not attending the hearing. She also screwed over Rory by not being there to help Emily pick out an outfit. This is easily, including her recent encounter with Chris' schwantz, the worst act Lorelai has ever committed on this show. I revise my early statements on this matter and the former is what I am going with for now on.

"We will be at 4000..." "Before YOU know it."

This is for Craig. Dude, the resolution on these DVDs is freakin ridiculous. They have never looked this good. It might not be HI-DEF, but the episodes look better than they ever have on DVD!

I am watching NAIL again, and ASP set this up from the beginning. Lorelai wants Luke to fill her in on all important life-changing decisions. What's Luke's first response to that statement? "I WONT...I will." This was coming from a mile away and we missed it. Dopamine is a wonderful, wonderful, drug.

Besides the dopamine, this episode should have been titled; "Lorelai's AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR CLEAVAGE!" In every scene, Lauren is flaunts it like a mutha. Apparently I missed this before because of KAB in those jeans, but it bears mentioning. Why? I dunno.

And yes, Scott's wig, does not look any better on DVD. Good lord. Just...good...lord.

HA! I am so with you on the wig. Maybe they could burn that in the bonfire.

caf I didn't mean to step on anyones toes and I know the PAIN the forum has been lately, having to check 100s of links my self!

volko posted a cap or the cap LOL from the ET clip here

Jason damn LGs clevage looks even better on the DVD, just think what the HD DVD (in WS) would look like on a 60 inch plasma! I'm still waiting maybe until next year when I can get them locally, maybe I'll feel better about this season by then.

ETA - fox24 yep those pile of clothes would be huge given you rarely see Lorelai in the same clothes twice and it's a BIG event when it happens. Chris can by her all new stuff now or she might be waling around nude, not that I have a problem with that!

Okay I'm for 8-9 hours...

I didn't notice Logan's London bedroom either. I'd seen both the bedroom and office before and they were really obvious when you walked into the soundstage. I really think there were just the back of set walls there now - wish they'd let us take pics in there! Anyway, when Gen is around maybe she will remember it differently.
It gets so confusing - too much to see and remember!

Huh, I never thought about the "I won't, I will" comment being an anvil.

Yes, dear lord, that wig makes me cringe every time I see it.

I would think it's his "special friend" only because their hands are clasped (fingers intertwined) behind her back. Not something you'd see if she was his niece or something.

Thanks for the tour stuff.

To avoid offending sensibilities with that which could be construed as character bashing, I won't name any names but merely thank you for contributing one of the few pleasant images this show is likely to provide this year.

Craig, you are a John Waters character. The 60 inch plasma comment made me laugh. Of course it's not WIDESCREEN! It's STRETCHED!

That aside, I WONT...I WILL are not a part of that earlier sentence. That's such a total anvil. It's not even funny. NAIL ends with Lorelai admitting "FOLLOW THROUGH IS NOT HER STRONG SUIT" and Fight Face starts with Sookie questioning her about bolting. Again, how did we miss this? I also think a large anvil is the lack of excitement from Babette and Miss Patty. I do not think it's related to any sort of feminism thing, but more a LUKE should have asked bit of business. The best part of the DVDs...the booklet intro for NAIL. You tell me if we did not get the hint. Here's the episode description:

"What's the very best thing for a broken heart? An engagement! With the Gilmore girls not talking (who would have thought!), Luke provides Lorelai with a much-needed happiness boost." Yeah, that sort of description, means everything is going to work out in the end.

ETA: Yeah, that image, is so what this show is about, that it's TUNED IN! TUNED IN! That you all seem to laugh at the same bits of business, never ceases to trip me out. It's as if your message board participation was written in the stars. Nevertheless, in a little less than 7 days and 1h 20m...it begins again. This time...IT'S PERSONAL! NOOCH TO THE BOOCH!
