The welcome sign has apparently changed. Where did all those people come from? I could have sworn it was 6000 or so. Even on the season four DVDs it did not have 9000+ people. I am going to blame this influx of people, if my memory servess me right, on a bunch of Rhode Islanders. It seems like the logical leap to make at this point.

Sandlynn, her DREAM? HER DREAM? Yes, her dream consist of playing in a rock band. That's her dream. Are you going to tell me that Patti Smith does not live her dream? Or Kim Gordon? Or Sarah Mac? Or Tori Amos? Do I have to go on? Seriously, it's one thing to be negative. It's another thing to throw DREAM AROUND. When Lane sucked it up and went to the ASP version of Bob Jones college. Come on. Just come on.

Thanks caf, for the info about L/C being together for the first half (first eps) of the season.
Well, I guess it had to happen and for me the positive thing is, better the first half, than the second one.

This is the one chance for L/C to be together and maybe now they realize that it was some kind of wishful thinking to have the "perfect" relationship. That it’s not always as they imagined it to be. It's true that Lorelai always had Chris in the back of her mind. I guess they have to be together first, to finally let go of each other.

And I’m so curious what Emily will have to say about this.

Nice news about LC. I didn't expect it to go very long, so I'll accept until the hiatus.

Do we know what "it" is though? is it a relationship? I'm not sure I really want to know though, lol.

I say we could be looking at only 5 or 6. Last season went into hiatus after 6.10 - this year they're starting a week later. I'm guessing the first 3 eps won't be about C/L, but about L/L adjusting, and making decisions.

Question is, once C/L figure out they're on the road to nowheresville, where will Luke be? In a relationship with Anna?
