One Tree Hill Spoilers: Will the Cliffhanger Make a "Splash" or Will It "Crash?"

Wednesday, April 26
One Tree Hill (8:00 - 9:00 pm ET)
"Over the Hills and Far Away" ((TV-14, D) (HDTV))

BROOKE AND HALEY GET INTO A HEATED ARGUMENT ABOUT THE WEDDING — On the night of the rehearsal dinner, Brooke (Sophia Bush) tangles with Haley (Bethany Joy) over Haley’s wedding dress. Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Karen (Moira Kelly) return to Tree Hill and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) makes a startling discovery. James Lafferty, Paul Johansson, Barbara Alyn Woods, Lee Norris, Barry Corbin and Moira Kelly also star. Tom Wright directed the episode written by Mark Schwahn.(credit to Fraz at Fanbolt)

In the "Ode to N/H" production, Lucas (in the role of Nathan) gets emotionally involved in one of his scenes with Brooke.

According to IMDB, Bryan Greenberg(Jake) appears in this episode.

From TV Guide's Michael Ausiello:
Question: On One Tree Hill, do you know if Jake is going to be coming back at all? — Kristine

Ausiello: Yes, and his reunion with Peyton is going to spell trouble for another couple. Also, I hear Nathan and Haley’s rehearsal dinner for their vow-renewal ceremony will feature the funniest staged production of their romance, featuring their friends playing them throughout the past three seasons. And look for Brooke to make a mess of Haley’s wedding gown.

Question: Please give me some One Tree Hill spoilers! — Jill

Ausiello: Someone from the school-shooting episode will be returning a changed man, and we’re about to see a side of Rachel that almost makes her human. My OTH mole also tells me that in the April 26 episode there is a beautiful, lump-in-your-throat scene between Karen and Lucas about Keith’s death, and it will change Lucas’ life in a way he never imagined.

Wednesday, May 3
(8:00 - 9:00 pm ET)
"The Show Must Go On" ((TV-14, L) (HDTV))

A SHOCKING CLIFFHANGER SEASON FINALE — On the eve of their wedding, Nathan (James Lafferty) worries for Haley’s (Bethany Joy) safety while Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Brooke's (Sophia Bush) friendship is tested. Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods) tells Dan (Paul Johansson) the truth about the dealership fire, and Karen (Moira Kelly) finds herself needing Keith (Craig Sheffer) more than ever. Lee Norris and Barry Corbin also star. Mark Schwahn wrote and directed the episode.(credit to Fraz at Fanbolt)

N/H's Vow Renewal:

  • The wedding was filmed at the lovely Orten Gardens on a plantation near Wilmington.
  • Michelle Featherstone ("God Bless the Child," Back of the Church") will play the piano and sing a special song for the couple. Apparently, Peyton arranged this booking.
  • Guests in attendance: Dan, Deb, Karen, Lucas, Brooke, Peyton, Rachel, Bevin, and Cooper.
  • Notable absentees: Whitey, Haley's family, Mouth, and Skillz.
  • Lucas walks Haley down the aisle and gives away the beautiful bride.
  • Brooke and Peyton, both wearing red dresses, are the bridesmaids.
  • Nathan wears a tux with a tie that matches Haley's dress. Haley wears a veil and has her hair down. They recite their own vows which are sweet and emotional.
  • Brooke/Rachel have resolved their differences.

The Reception:

  • Dan is not at the reception.
  • Mouth is the DJ for the reception.
  • Lucas and Brooke share a romantic dance and seem to be getting along fine. For some reason, Lucas, believing that Brooke already knows about it, mentions the library kiss with Peyton. Brooke listens to him for a minute or two, Then storms away from him, and he chases after her.
  • A very drunk Rachel makes a toast to the the happy couple. At some point in her speech, she blurts out about her affair with Cooper. Nathan, Haley, and Deb are stunned. An upset Rachel then leaves the party and Cooper hurriedly goes after her.

Other Dramatic Happenings:
Karen is pregnant with Keith's child, and again she faces the reality of raising a child without the baby's father.

From TV Guide's Micheal Ausiello:
Question: Any One Tree Hill sneak peeks? — Jason

Ausiello: In the May 3 season (or series?) finale, there are some big cliff-hangers. First, Nathan and Haley will finally have their dream wedding, but a tragic accident will leave one character fighting for his/her life — and TV Guide's Damian Holbrook begging for another season. Also, it will be revealed that not one, but two characters are preggers. And finally, Brooke learns a secret that Peyton and Lucas were hiding and walks away from them both. Wow, I detest this show and even I wanna see this episode! (Just kidding.)

Thanks for the new thread Rebecca.

"In the "Ode to N/H" production, Lucas (in the role of Nathan) gets emotionally involved in one of his scenes with Brooke"

So are they or are they not a couple in next week's episode? Because that sentence with Lucas getting emotionally involved in of his scenes with Brooke definitely sounds like they are NOT together.Although I love the sound of that...him getting emotionally involved with his pretty girl.

I'm ok with them being broken up because every spoiler we've read the last month have said they're not together so I keep on waiting for the break-up. Did I just say that waiting for the breakup of my favorite couple! If they're not together there better be Flashbacks scenes because right now I am really confused.

Hmmm... I don't know why. I can see them fine. Can anyone help Lelly?

I honestly don't know if B/L are broken up or not. I just know that Lucas puts a lot of feeling behind his words to Brooke as he plays "Nathan."

Sandy, it’s not about four or five lines in concern to Peyton’s feelings for Lucas. In fact, it is about more than that.

It’s about the fact that her feelings for Lucas were written all season long. The emotions and undertones. What bigger sign is there than with Peyton’s drunken slip-up singing about what two lovers could have had, and then blurting out Luke’s name first, and VERY OBVIOUSLY…quickly trying to cover up the mention of Luke’s name with the mention of Jake’s name? And although she was drunk, the fact that Peyton said Luke’s name first means that the boy was indeed on her mind. That boy being Lucas Scott. And why exactly was he on her mind in the sense of what two lovers could have had? Because she wonders what she could have had with him.

Another fact in it not just being about Peyton being drunk is that a writer wrote that scene. He knew what he was doing in the intentional-sense when he wrote that scene, so it’s not about just a drunken slip-up for Peyton when the writer specifically put that reveal of Peyton’s hidden feelings into that moment.

The very proof that Peyton’s inner-self, which as with anyone’s inner-self is that person’s most inner thoughts, talks to her about thinking if she should be with Lucas is another testament to Peyton’s romantic feelings for Lucas. Most people, when they say they’ve found the one romantic love they are supposed to be with, they DO NOT wonder about past romantic loves. But here we have Peyton wondering about her past love with Lucas.

She will wonder until those romantic feelings for him are explored to their fullest extent, as she wondered at the beginning of this Season 3, even after her love for Jake. Jake has nothing to do with Peyton’s wonderment about Lucas, it’s not about lessening what she has with Jake at all…and I hope it will clearly be portrayed that way, as of not to spit on the JP fans, if it does happen that Peyton admits her romantic sentiments to Lucas. I would rather have Peyton leave Jake, without Jake urging her to go for Lucas. I would NOT want the writers to spit on JPers in anyway.

However, all the other instances this season in which displayed Peyton longing for what could have been with her past romance with Lucas is why LPers will be beyond angry, if Mark did all that for nothing, and even other fanbases of this show have stated as it being a cheap shot…because the buildup to Peyton’s feelings for Lucas have apparently been there, and then to act as though the buildup was never really there is quite ridiculous in of itself.

We’re not saying that Lucas has feelings for Peyton, or that LP will get together this season (we know that LP does NOT happen relationship-wise this season), we’re not saying that we want LP together this season on this issue of Peyton’s feelings. We’re just saying that her feelings for Lucas should NOT be made to act as though they didn’t happen this season, those blatant moments in which were showcased all season long.

You yourself have mentioned as to Peyton having feelings for Lucas, but it not taking away from her “great love for Jake.”

Most people, no matter what fanbase they belong to of this show, have admitted to seeing Peyton’s feelings for Lucas all season long, so I do NOT see how anyone can say that it’s an opinion or a matter of observation upon seeing them, when the facts are there…but, of course, everyone is entitled to their own thoughts.

And I had to address you on that topic, because, well, I am me…and you are you, and debating is what we do.

Some people have their thoughts.

Other people have their thoughts.

And I respect your feelings, Sandy. I may not always understand those feelings, but I respect them, and even with your LP hate, I love hearing your opinion these days.

I do NOT even know why I’m still angry about the show, really, Mark has screwed over LPers so much now that I am quite used to it.

One represents the state of mind of want in which want can always be changed.

The second represents a direct comparison of the two girls in which one can never compare to the other; the true love can never be outdone.

I hope this wasn't posted already. Even if it was, it's worth repeating. Let's bombard Kristin with votes for One Tree Hill

"Simply look over the list of endangered series below (these are all the series that have not yet been picked up for another season), and decide on the one series you cannot live without. Then email me with the name of your chosen show as the subject line."

OTH is on the list of Likely Doomed shows.

How can one tell that he gets emotionally involved? and how can it be seen that it's not just him portraying Nathan? This is one spoiler I don't understand, because it's pretty subjective, right? Unless it was written in the script, "Lucas gets emotionally involved in...etc"
