Alright, haha, I know I'm way late, and others have done this also, but I didn't write all this for nothing

Here;s MY PBP

Lorelai and Babette are carrying a huge fake plant outside from Lorelai's house, taking it to Babette's, and Lorelai's phone is ringing, she ignores it. Then the inside phone starts ringing, and she ignores it too. Babette is saying she hasn't seen Chris lately. Lorelai says his work keeps him busy. The cell rings again, and she finally puts the plant down and answers it. It's Rory. She says she's on her way, and leaves immediately. Babette calls Morey to help with the plant.

Rory is sitting in the waiting room of the hospital all by herself. Her cell is ringing, and she's just staring into space, ignoring it. Finally someone else asks her if her phone is ringing. She says sorry and picks it up. It's Lorelai, just arriving at the hospital, wondering where Rory is. Rory says she is in the Cardiac intensive care unit waiting room. Lorelai thinks she is in the right place, but they don't see each other. There is a red line painted on the floor that Lorelai follows to get to Rory.

Rory tells Lorelai they are doing blood tests and an EKG, another one, since they need to determine how much damage it caused. It was a mild heart attack. Rory explains the tests to Lorelai in great detail, obviously trying to be strong. Lorelai stops her and hugs her, and says it's going to be OK.

Lorelai is leaving a message for Chris, not the first apparently. She says Richard had a heart attack, and where they are at the hospital, and asks him to call.

She goes back to sit with Rory, and Rory has the table full of snacks, since she says she couldn't choose. Lorelai says Emily is on her way. She didn't talk to her, but she was at the club, and they had let her know. Rory asks about Chris, and Lorelai says he hasn't got her messages yet, but hell come when he does. They discuss the snacks and both decide they aren't hungry.

Rory says it feels like a nightmare, and Lorelai agrees. Then Lorelai say it's not, because she never wears shoes in her dreams. Rory wonders what the no shoes thing means.

The Doctor comes to greet them. Says he conscious and not in pain. They have sent him for an angiogram to tell where the blockage is, and where to go from there. Lorelai asks where they would go, and the doctor says if it's serious, he will need emergency bypass surgery. He promises to let them know right away, Lorelai and Rory look shaken, and thank the doctor.

Emily then arrives and immediately asks if they've seen him. She's very forceful. They say no, and Emily says nonsense, she will her see husband NOW. The nurse says the same thing that Rory and Lorelai did, he's having a test done, but she can see him after. Emily rants to the nurse about her being far too chipper, saying she should be a weather girl or teacher. Then complains about competent people to Rory and Lorelai. Lorelai tries to calm her down by offering her a cup of tea. Emily doesn't want tea, she wants competent people to do their jobs. But it's too much to ask for. Then Rory suggests snacks, and Emily ignores her, and starts ranting about the people at the club.

Emily is ticked it took them 40 minutes to find her at the club. If she would have had her cell, but no, they were banned at the club because of noise pollution. Rory says that terrible. Then she starts on the guy she was playing tennis with. After that, she moves on to ranting about drug deals happening at the club, Lorelai says she doubts it, but Emily is saying the place has gone to the dogs, and rants some more, about the food etc.

While Emily is ranting, Logan arrives, and stands quietly waiting for a minute to break into the convo. Rory gets up and goes to him, they hug. He waves to Lorelai, and finally when he can get a word in, he says he's very sorry, and asks if there's anything he can do. He offers a cup of tea, Lorelai says she just asked, and Emily said no, but Emily makes a big deal about saying yes.

When Logan leaves Emily tells Rory she is very lucky, he's very thoughtful, one of the good ones. Rory agrees.

Then Emily notices Chris isn't there, Lorelai says he's on his way, but before Emily can quiz her, the doctor comes back.

The blockage is worse then they thought, they need to do a bypass. (scene from DC) They says they want to see him, and follow the doctor to his room. Emily asks if he is doing the surgery. The doctor says yes, and Emily quizzes him on his schooling. He is now chief. He leaves them, and says a nurse will be by shortly. Rory and Emily go right in, but Lorelai hangs back for a second, then goes in the room.

Emily tells Richard about the surgeon. He is awake and alert, and putting up with Emily fine. Richard apologises for scaring Rory. Lorelai asks how he is. Richard says he would rather be in Philadelphia. Lorelai goes on about how great Philly is. Emily and Lorelai fight over giving Richard a pillow.

Richard interrupts them, talking about Tuscon. Saying that he hates it there, but he would even rather be there.

is it just me or was Lorelai really cold to Luke when Luke first came? Not that I expected more from her.

PART 2

Zach is working at Luke's. He seems to be loving it. Luke asks if he's doing alright, he says filling in for Lane is good. Zach keeps talking, and Luke is cleaning tables etc, trying to ignore him. He says he appreciates his enthusiasm. Babette shows up, and tells Luke about Richard. He asks if he's OK, Babette says she doesn't know, but thought he should know. Luke thanks her.

Lorelai is trying to reach Chris again. Tells him Richard is having surgery. She tells Chris a story about when she was little, and she climbed a tree, and her dad looked small. She says he looks like that. As soon as she hangs up form leaving the message, it rings again. It's Sookie, wanting to know what she can do and asking how she is. Lorelai fills her in. Lorelai says shes OK considering. Sookie is sending food. Michel is telling Sookie things to say to Lorelai, that he's thinking of Richard, hopes she's OK, and then business stuff. Sookie and Michel fight about discussing business. Michel says he misses Lorelai.

Emily is on the phone, chatting about dinners and business trips. Lorelai cracks she should be a weather girl. Emily says she's not losing her in at the restaurant for one night. She's checking it off her list. She tells Lorelai about the food they are missing that night.

Rory is sitting with Logan. His phone is buzzing. She ignores it, telling him about Paris. Finally Rory tells him to get his phone. He says he's not doing anything but being with her. Rory asks if people will be mad, Logan says its their problem.

Emily is complaining about her schedule to Lorelai. Luke shows up and Emily says not him again, and asks what he's doing there. Lorelai says she doesn't know. He comes to Lorelai, and says he came as fast as he could, but now knows he might be in the way. Rory and Logan come over and say hi. Logan offers him a cup of coffee. Luke says no, he doesn't want to get in the way, but asks if there's anything he can do. Lorelai says there's not much for her to do, Emily comes over, and says he can pick up Richards car from the Yale parking lot. Then she asks hi to fill it up. Lorelai objects, Luke says its fine. She tries to pay him, Luke wont take it. Then Emily gets another call.

Lorelai apologizes for Emily, Luke leaves.

Emily needs someone to meet the fish man at their house, Rory volunteers her and Logan, so they can also get some of Richards things. Emily says it would be marvelous. Lorelai wants to go too, Rory says no. Lorelai can watch Grandma. Neither of them wants to stay with Emily. She gives Logan the list of where to put the list. They don't have a car, since Rory came in the ambulance, and Logan came in the helicopter. Lorelai gives them her keys.

PART THREE

Babette is trying to take Paul Anka, and calling Lorelai to check in. Babbette says Richard is sexy, and will be fine. Lorelai asks how PA is. Babette says he wont go with her. Lorelai says to put down something over the steps. Babette lays her coat on the steps, and PA rushes down the stairs.

Logan is on the phone giving directions to the fish man. Rory is picking out books. Logan's phone is still buzzing. Rory asks him about it, and if it has to do with the chopper he flew in on. Logan says they don't have to talk about business. Rory says she's interested, and could use the distraction. Logan says he got the chopper loaned to him from the guy he went to see about money. Rory says lending choppers is a good sign of trust, and asks what he needs the money for. Logan says he wants to buy another web company. (bunch of web talk I don't get at ALL! Hee) He's willing to sell for only $5 Million. Logan is putting up $3 Million of his own money, and just another $2 Million. Rory asks why he has to put in is own money, and Logan says he pitched it to his dad, and he rejected it. Logan says he has to move fast.

Logan is excited, Rory understands. Logan and Rory talk about speaking "businesese". Rory says she learned it in Econ with her grandpa. Says she loves her class, it's very interesting. She talks about a project they are doing next week, then suddenly remembers they don't know whats going on next week.

Logan reminds her she is getting him a bunch of stuff to read.

*D/C scene in cafeteria*

Logan and Rory are getting TONS of things for Richard. Rory has albums, a chess set, books etc. Many boxes. Rory goes on and on about his albums, and how Richard sings along to them. Logan says the fish man is gone, and tells the stupid fish man joke he told (C.O.D. = cod)

Rory has picked out an outfit for Emily, so she can be comfortable.

Logan goes to load it in the car. Rory says thank you for everything. Logan says he doesn't need thanks, there's nowhere else he'd rather be.

Emily got Richards will faxed, and wants to discuss it with Lorelai. Lorelai doesn't want to talk about it. Emily says she needs to verify her social security number. Lorelai wants to pick out a gift for Richard. Lorelai is mad, and says she is acting like he is dead. Emily says she is following the plan that her and Richard set up last time when they were unprepared Lorelai says she's not his secretary, she's his wife. Emily asks what she knows about it. Emily says they have been married for two thirds of her life, and lists all she does for him. She takes care of him, it's what she does. If she could do the surgery herself she wold. Emily starts crying and says she could lose him, he's her whole life. Lorelai gives her a tissue.

PART FOUR (Yes, this is it )

Logan, Rory, Lorelai and Emily are waiting. Emily is trying the candy. The doctor comes and tells them the surgery went extremely well. He will have a long recovery. But they can visit when he's more awake, but Emily can go in now.

Emily is sitting at Richards bedside. She is filling him in on everything she has done, Richard is barely awake. Richard tells her it sounds fine. They smile at each other.

Lorelai tries Chris again. Tells him the surgery went well. She says she's his wife. She's trying. HE should be there or call her back. Be there. She says this is bigger then the fight. She lists everyone who was has called, and he's not there.

Rory is playing Richard his fave record. Lorelai and Rory go on about the name Bing. Rory tells him about the books she brought.

Lorelai asks now if he'd rather be here or Philly. He says he'd rather be here. Lorelai says he looks tall. Richard says he's gonna close his eyes. He falls asleep. Rory and Lorelai watch hi sleep. Lorelai says shes glad Rory and Logan are dog so well. She's happy she's happy. He's a good kid. Rory asks if she knows where Chris is. Lorelai says no. Maybe he's in Philly.

Emily is talking to the doctor. Rory and Logan follow. Luke is back, dropping off food. Lorelai says he didn't have to do that. That the surgery went well. While they are talking, it cuts to Chris showing up, asking where Richard is. The nurse directs him, and he finds out Richard is OK. He sees Luke and Lorelai talking about the food, walks up to them. Luke says he's gonna go, Chris says he should.

Lorelai says Luke just brought food, Chris says he doesn't want to talk about it now. Rory sees him, and Chris asks how she is. He goes with Rory to see Richard.

Emily tells Lorelai it will be alright. Blood is thicker then water.

EMILY WANTED TO PAY HIM? that doesn't sound as someone of the family. Poor Luke. and Lorelai said that he was just bringing food? Ok... she is sleeping yet.
