However, with the S4 quote.. Lorelai can use the Nicole marriage in her argument later. Luke did it too. He married Nicole when he was in love with someone else, Lorelai to be exact. And Lorelai will marry when she's in love with Luke.

But.. I just.. ugh. I don't know. Something still isn't right. If they get married I think something VERY similar has to happen with LC that happened with LN. Marriage breaks them up. Lorelai and Christopher never live together. They get their mail order divorce. They move on.

ETA: What if Lorelai asks Rory to be her maid of honor and Rory won't do it? She knows it's the wrong guy and she won't do it. Oooooh. Drama.

I have to think that a CL marriage would have to be a quick thing. Elope is a five letter word.

I really can't see E/R supporting it really. Or Rory. I mean, they'd be ok with it, but not encouraging it. Same with Sookie. And it couldn't be a big wedding with Babette and Kirk and everyone, theyr'e too big of L/L supporters to do that.


and if they do get married in sweeps, is that the general idea here? 7.07's the start of that, right? Its obvious they're not making wedding plans then, so, even a marriage within 3 eps will be awfully rushed into and have the potential to be a huge mistake right afterwards.

I would love that Mots. They must elope or otherwise MA lied, as in the word is not marry, so maybe Rory doesnt know.

That would be fabulous on so many levels, because essentially Lorelai didn't marry Luke for so long because she felt like she needed to wait for Rory. That would just be.. wow. I really hope they go there.

I didn't loose my faith in Lorelai or any other character, I lost my faith in Rosenthal! And that's worse! How can a wonderful show like this be destroyed within one year, I don't get it!

i'm hoping for this... come on, could she really take this 'union' seriously? hopefully Rory will be around SH more with Logan now in London, and she'll see that Luke and Lorelai are still reacting to each other (at least subconsciously: Lorelai goes to Paris, Luke goes on a date) and see how wrong it all is..

Im wondering if LC were even sober when they elope or whatever. And does Rory come?
Something just doesnt make sense. Somethings missing. How can a completly sober Lorleai walk down the isle and say i do to Chris, when she admited that Luke is the only man she's ever really loved? Did her feelings for him change in a few months time?

I will be very surprised if anyone knows beforehand, including Rory. And that just pisses me off, but oddly, not as much as Rory approving a marriage would.

I suspected confirmation any day, because when I went on the tour, yesterday, the guide was saying he "knew things he wished he didn't". And I pretty much told him, "Dude. Everyone is pretty sure that they are marrying off LC. And there are not a whole lot of people who want it to happen." He danced around that and played, "Look at the shiney George Clooney!" (Dude. GC is ********** hot.) But he kept going on about this big event that would effect "everyone, even Luke". (That was when my friend said something about the wedding thing, since she wasn't there when I mentioned that before.) He said that wasn't "the" event he was talking about. (SO, no flat out no, but no confirmation.) It is going to "rock them all to their foundations, including Luke." Plus, there was another guide there and she was all, "I like Chris. David is so nice." I pointed out that DS seemed nice, but that DS wasn't Chris. Heh. But neither one would respond on the marriage topic though, not that I blame them. Something about their faces, though... My friend and I were like, "And that's confirmation." (It felt like the one ladywas trying to sell us on him. At the end of the tour, we were joking with our guide and said to tell the other one that we appreciated all that she had helped us do, but that Christopher would always be a douchebag, no matter how nice DS is. He cracked up.)

Not really any scoop, they were filming a scene with Emily/Lorelai, Sookie/Micheal and a third where, "Chris persuades Lorelai to go to a parent thing at Yale." I wish they hadn't ben filming on all the soundstages. This guy seemed much more into GG than the one I had on the short tour, but it was the short tour guy who managed to get us onto the stage with the YDN and Rory/Logan's apt., because they weren't filming on Tuesday. Oh. And Chris is living in a town house. (It is at the end of the street that dead ends at the commissary, across from the theater.) I couldn't bring myself to take a picture though. Heh. They have also put in Liz and TJ's interior, either in the old Seaver house, or the one next door. (I can't remember which. I was freaking out at walking through Kim's Antiques.)

Oddly enough, the confirmation on the thread doesn't make me sad, it just makes me feel over it. Maybe that will change.

Interesting stuff. Oy.. bah.. barf! Arh well, that would be the marriage that DR mentioned right? not wedding - marriage. So yep, eloping somewhere and it will be annulled quicker than Chris can ever say "bootie call" again.
