apparently they were filming for 2x19 last night in an amusement park and there was a picture of a ferris wheel. Candice, Grant, Carlos and Jesse were there.

i know this is guesswork, but the ferris wheel is an iconic WA moment from the comics- he proposed to her on the ferris wheel because that was where they had their first date.

i wonder if there's going to be something good for WA in this episode.

Yes, I think so. She's mentioned a few times before that the writers aren't holding anything back for later seasons.

I appreciate how matter of fact she is about the writing for Iris, though the way she talks about Iris mourning Eddie is funny to me since we haven't seen that onscreen, lol.

Sounds like we still aren't going to get much of Iris at CCPN. Shocking.

I am the one with the theory that WestAllen = Ephram/Amy and they will get together at the end of season 2 like Ephram/Amy. LOL Berlanti used Ferris Wheels as a symbol for Ephram/Amy throughout the entire series too! Season 1, their first unofficial date was at an amusement park and they rode the Ferris Wheel together. Season 2 before they got together they were near a Ferris Wheel. Series finale they were literally in front of a Ferris Wheel that Amy brought to Ephram and they got their happy ending and went for a ride on the Ferris Wheel together... it was the last scene of the entire series, even!

Oh the parallel continues on and on.

My theory is in place.

I hope Berlanti is talking inspiration from Everwood because it sounds like he really cared about that show and their main couple. I don't want to get my hopes up for the amusement park theories but that would be the best thing ever.

I know he's a fan of westallen, he always talks positively about them and he wrote ep 13 and 14, which was wa heaven. Crossing my fingers we get some good stuff during the last half of the season.

yeah, they haven't established a ferris wheel as anything significant for WA on the show yet, but since it was a famous comics moment, and Grant and Candice were filming there, you can see how there might be some hope for something. maybe they're establishing it now.

it's hard to know. i don't want to get my hopes up for anything 5 episodes before the finale. i've sort of pinned any kind of definite expectation on the finale itself, so if stuff happens before then it's a bonus.
