It could be caitlin... aside from Wells everyone has practically forgotten about her and they haven't put in any effort to save her. I can see Caitlin coming back and resenting them and this could lead into the killer frost storyline next season. Maybe it's my wishful thinking because I really like the new team dynamic without Caitlin.

could be her. that would definitely be a big surprise. i also prefer the team without her.

but my guess is it's Wells again. Tom Cavanagh said in an interview with DC access that he's been saving something in his back pocket all season for the finale, so that might be it.

i can't imagine anybody else double-crossing him, tbh.

yeah, it could be wells but thats kinda redundant at this point and will ppl really be surprised if he double crosses Barry lol ?

Considering that this whole season has been redundant in one way or another, Wells double crossing Barry sounds plausible.

I don't care if it's Wells or Caitlin or whomever, I'd just like to see it result in some real change to this "team" dynamic. I know some folks are satisfied with Jessie replacing Caitlin but MEH, that doesn't do anything for me. It's all still stale and repetitive, IMO. I can't even get excited about Iris being a part of the team because it just feels like the writers' way of giving her screen time without having to invest in her professional development. I'm still baffled at how little her journalism story has progressed. She's gotten even less than she did in S1 and I didn't think that was possible. SMH.

They've been building up Caitlin going dark with seeing Killer Frost on Earth 2, Zoom giving her the whole "There's darkness inside you" speech, and the constant "I'll never be Killer Frost" assurances, so it would make sense if it's her (and Caitlin needs a story line).

If it's someone else, it wouldn't make any sense, unless we're still thinking something weird was going on with Henry when he left town so abruptly... or an evil version of Eddie returns.

Caitlin desperately needs a storyline. I do think there have been hints all season long that she's meant to go all comic and become Killer Frost E1. I hope it happens.

Yep. I'm having a hard time getting excited for s3 when this show's premise is so tired. I'm really just watching the last eps to finish the season, they made Zoom too boring and given everything I'm not expecting any exciting twists (legit excited for 2.21 though).

I know everyone talks about Caitlin not having a storyline, but imo Iris is worse off.
