Outlander Spoilers & Speculations Thread #4

Outlander
Spoilers & Speculations
STARZ Series

Season 3 - Voyager
A STARZ Original Series
"Book Three” will be based on the third of the eight books in the Outlander series, entitled Voyager, The third season of Outlander picks up right after Claire travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948. Now pregnant, she struggles with the fallout of her sudden reappearance and its effect on her marriage to her first husband, Frank.

Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. As the years pass, Jamie and Claire attempt to make a life apart from one another, each haunted by the memory of their lost love.

The budding possibility that Claire can return to Jamie in the past breathes new hope into Claire’s heart… as well as new doubt. Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other. As always, adversity, mystery, and adventure await them on the path to reunion. And the question remains: when they find each other, will they be the same people who parted at the standing stones, all those years ago? (source)

"Outlander" follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate relationship is ignited that tears Claire's heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

The "Outlander" series, adapted from Diana Gabaldon's international best-selling books, spans the genres of romance, science fiction, history and adventure into one epic tale. From Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore, "Outlander" -

Question: Are we going to see Duncan and Jocasta’s wedding this season on Outlander? (Please say no.) —Nancy
Ausiello: We posed that very question to executive producer Maril Davis, and here’s exactly what she said: “We might. We might or we might not. It all depends on what happens between” star-crossed lovers Murtagh and Jocasta. Now you could read that as a non-answer. But I feel pretty good about the first two words in Davis’ response.

Do you have anything about Outlander, specifically about Brianna? — Sara
Sophie Skelton says fans should prepare to learn that Stephen Bonnet, this season’s Big Bad and possible bio dad to Brianna’s son, “is a little more messed-up than we even realized” — which is really saying something. When something from his past comes into play, “it actually makes him act in a very different way to Brianna than we would have expected. There’s a bit of a twist in his demeanor and his goals.”
