** Q: It took us at least 15 viewing but we, hardcore fans, finally saw the 2 differents clocks. A: HH I always said that the season finale was made specifically for our long time audience, the loyal fans who've kept us alive.
** HH absolutely CANNOT confirm <the the voiceover was Brennan's book and that the other was Booth's dream>. It wasn't a dream, it wasn't a book, it was something else. The meeting of two minds?
** HH would like to find a guest spot for Blake Bashoff somewhere on BONES.

** HH said he'd love to have Zooey Deschanel guest on the show but 'It's a matter of story and schedule coming together and so far no luck.'
** Q: Will we ever be told who Gordon was talking about when he said one knows about his feelings and struggles? Booth(ie) or Brennan? A: HH said 'We have every intention of bringing Gordon-Gordon back so yes, absolutely.'
** HH said 'Will Angela and Hodgins ever get back together? ... hmmm ... could be. Maybe. Is that good enough?'
** Q: Any idea when Booth's dad and/or grandfather may show up? I'm assuming during s5 since s4 ran out of time. A: 'This part is all pending the right actor. Our intention is to meet him in Season V, definitely. But it must be very special.'
** HH said 'I wouldn't count out the Gravedigger ... just sayin' ... may mean nothing ... could mean something ... but she's awful smart.'

Ugh, I just caught up on HH's twitters, and the whole "I already know how the show is going to end" thing makes me SO nervous because 1) I HATE knowing that someone knows something I really want to know but don't know , but mostly 2) With another favorite show of mine (Gilmore Girls), the creator also said she knew how it would end, that she actually knew what the last four words would be, and then she left the show right before the final season because of difficulties with the studio and she didn't even come back for the finale and now NOBODY knows how she would have ended it, and ugh, it kills me, and the possibility of something like that happening with Bones kills me even more.

SO, I've been gone for one day and I missed 3 threads. I love this community haha. Umm, I watched the EiTB's end about a bagillion times now! Think that's enough?

I'm very confident about the renewal! We just have to stay calm and wait for a few days..

After I watched the episode I was confused, I thought I was being played by HH because of all the "NO DREAM SEQUENCE etc." but at the same time the sex scene was HOT! And even if it wasn't real, I finally had a visual picture of THE sex. So I was confused.

But now I'm not, because after everything that we discovered: the clocks, the things that HH said, the fact that Emily used the word "WHEN" when talking about sex, the title of the episode finally makes sense. The end in the beginning.

Let's be honest, we watch bones because of BB. Yes, we like forensic anthropology, yes we like the funny lines, yes we LOVE the other characters and all the cases, but, when we are watching a new episode, our heart stops when Booth brushes against Brennan for half a second, or when she looks at him THAT way.
So, this last episode was a love letter to us, loyal fans. And HH knows what we want. We want BB together (at least the majority of the loyal fans does!! )

If the episode was written for US, I think that the title is for us too. So the END (of the serie, of our wait) is the sex, or better the love making, or better the fact that they clearly aknowledge their love to each other, they live in the same house, they have already had sex before and they're hot!
The BEGINNING could be a lot of things: the beginning of the episode (the sex (end), was at the beginning) or the beginning of the things that will lead them to the end.

We know that they already love each other, but they don't. They NEVER really shared a romantic moment because they never allowed themselves to think it was romantic. They never almost kissed, they never had "a moment".
"You see two people and you think they belong together. But nothing happens. The thought of losing so much control over personal happiness is unbearable. That's the burden"

But this episode was the beginning. The things that Brennan wrote were HUGE. She implied LOVE. And she seems ready to accept to suffer for love. Now she's ready, Booth was ready a long time ago, nothing would stop them. Exept Booth's amnesia.

And this is perfect, because we will see them "dancing" towards love, and next season is going to be FANTASTIC, it will be full of tension, angst, love and awwwwww.

So now I'm sure, everything is gonna be GOOD, VERY GOOD

Sorry for my english, but I had to write my thoghts about the season finale because this way I'm gonna be able to wait a whole long long long summer

thanks for this post. I've read since yesterday a LOT of bad and pessimistic things.
It's SO good to read something like you posted here above.

I totally agree with you and every single word.

We all want them to be together, but let's say for example, that HH gave us a
real sex in the present time, their first time. Ok, perfect. But what then? I mean, the
point of being a shipper is root for your couple. When they get together, really
together, you ask (at least I ask myself) ok, perfect, now what then? It needs
to be obstacles like a fight or something. So yes, I really want BB together, but
like HH said the process is like a dance, it takes time otherwise the show would be over too soon

btw I still think the 1st scene was from the future. So let's say it's true. Imagine
then 'one year' from now them together like that?

Plus, if this scene will be shown again in the next season finale I have no doubt
that season 5 will be 100% BB that they'll build their relationship to lead to
the sex we saw on this 1st scene of the season 4 finale.
