GG S&S #1723: It's premiere night! Let the fangirling and crying begin!
 Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed. Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. This means that, if the Spoilers Board Moderators have to come in with four official warnings about any issue whatsoever, within 24 hours or so, then that particular thread will be temporarily closed. The duration of closure is subject to the Spoilers Board Moderators' discretion. OMD! — Blair (Leighton Meester) has spent a fabulous summer in Paris without realizing her former love, Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), has been shot. As much as Blair tries to distract herself from the pain Chuck caused her, his mysterious appearance in Paris with a beautiful new woman (guest star Clémence Poésy) will force both of them to face what happened. Meanwhile, a newly single Serena (Blake Lively) has been enjoying a Parisian summer of love with boys, Blair and Balenciaga as she tries to avoid the inevitable decision about which of her two long-time beaus, Dan or Nate (Penn Badgley and Chace Crawford), she should return to. Back on the Upper East Side, Nate meets an intriguing girl, Juliet (guest star Katie Cassidy, “Melrose Place”), who helps him realize that his summer of sexual conquests with the help of Chuck’s little black book was his way of avoiding his unresolved feelings for Serena. Meanwhile, Dan’s (Penn Badgley) baby mama drama continues with Georgina (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg). Finally, the van der Woodsen apartment is buzzing with activity as the “Fashion’s Night Out” event is planned. Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. 4.02: Double Identity Writer:Sarah Goodman and Joshua Safran Director: Mark Piznarski Videos: CB TRAIN STATION GOSSIP GIRL GOES PARIS! — Living out a real-life fairytale in Paris, Blair (Leighton Meester) is pursued by a handsome young man, Louis (guest star Hugo Becker), who she suspects is a member of Monaco's royal family. A very concerned Lily (Kelly Rutherford) asks Serena (Blake Lively) to help her find Chuck (Ed Westwick), who hasn't been heard from or seen in months. Meanwhile, Chuck Bass is as we've never seen him before, adjusting to a fresh start in Paris with a mysterious new woman, Eva (guest star Clémence Poésy), at his side. Read here. - I can tell you exclusively that Chuck and Blair will have, um, relations, of the bom-chicka-bow-wow kind during the upcoming season. At least, that's what my sources are saying. Whether they will actually get back together, well…that I cannot say, sorry. There will be some kind of mystery that needs to be solved and a mysterious appearance by someone from home. Paris will greatly affect the direction of season 4. - According to Billy Baldwin, there will be a heartbreaking ending to Dr. vdW's story, but there is also a potential for him to return. - Stephanie Savage says that they will be introducing a major new character in season 4. Speculation/Other News: - Katy Perry and Ivanka Trump will guest star. - Serena has to choose between Dan and Nate and that will occupy much of her time. Reposting: I want Chuck to mature...but I also want him to act his age which is 19 or 20. I don't want Old Man Chuck from early S3. And based on 4.01 alone I would say the prince is definitely coming back. And I still haven't seen 4.02. As for Chuck/Eva, I still think it's ridiculous that she didn't call the cops or take Chuck to a hospital. So I think Chuck being shot will definitely be revisited later in the season. And there might be some mystery surrounding the muggers who shot Chuck. Like they were working for Jack  I also liked Juliet. She's an intriguing character. __________________

a lot of stuff didn't end up onscreen actually! Vanessa/Rufus and Nate/Lily phone calls, RL do talk about babies at the end before her cell rings, a lot of dialogues have been shortened too, some sentences differently said/rewritten etc... |

lets pretend for a moment that its believable or legitimate that eva didn't call an ambulance and was somehow competent to treat his gunshot wound.
Regardless of her surgical prowess, she is not a doctor so doesn't it stand to reason that chuck should be in constant excruciating pain due to the lack of extremely high dosage prescription painkillers? Now i've never been shot myself, so i can't testify to the pain level....but i would imagine the suitable reaction to waking up after having unanesthatised holly hobby surgery on a bullet wound would be less of the casual "where am i?" and more of "AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" type reaction....? __________________

Right now, I'm at the part of the premiere where Nate first meets Juliet. I've got to say: I find them pretty cute so far. I know that she turns out to be psychotic, and I'm already severely disappointed. Juliet seems like a good combination of Blair and Serena, and I'm enjoying her banter with Nate.

It was so WEIRD seeing a guy tell Blair that she's beautiful, and observing little details about her (like her watch set to EST), and being all shy and awkward and having to work up his courage to approach her.
