Gossip Girl S&S #1724: Rachel Zoe is literally going to be on an episode of GG. Literally.

Welcome to the Gossip Girl spoiler and speculation thread, feel free to post about any upcoming story-line
and discuss it with the other people in here. We urge you to not bash the actors nor the users
because it's not allowed by the rules, but anything else with a good argument is welcomed.

Effective immediately, the Spoilers Board Moderators reserve the right to temporarily close any
thread that does not heed four official warnings given on any issue. This means that,
if the Spoilers Board Moderators have to come in with four official warnings about
any issue whatsoever, within 24 hours or so, then that particular thread will be temporarily
closed. The duration of closure is subject to the Spoilers Board Moderators' discretion.
Upon re-opening of the temporarily closed thread, said thread will be closed again if any
warnings are given within 24-48 hours of the reopening. Lastly, if numerous warnings need
to be given over the course of a week, and the moderators suspect an attempt to get
around the "four warnings" rule to avoid closure, we reserve the right to temporarily close the thread.

ATTENTION ALL GOSSIP GIRL FANS: From now on, please do not post any picspams or repeated
spoiler images - regardless of who is in them. It takes up space and offends certain
members/fanbases. When we get new pictures, post a few of them once, then link the
rest. They will be added to our photobucket in the OP and can be accessed there from then on.

GENERAL INFO

Kristin said what?:
- William vdW will return next season.
- According to this interview, the writers have a "plan" for Jenny that they want to save as a surprise.
- DS are not together when the season starts; No love interest in the works for Blair; Clémence Poésy not a regular this season. Read here.
- I can tell you exclusively that Chuck and Blair will have, um, relations, of the bom-chicka-bow-wow kind during the upcoming season. At least, that's what my sources are saying. Whether they will actually get back together, well…that I cannot say, sorry. But still, that's a pretty major reason to keep tuning in, right?
- Penn reports GG will add another marriage into the mix.

Ausiello scoops:

- Chuck will be a point of contention between Rufus/Lily

Interviews:
- According to Stephanie Savage, Nate's relationship with Juliet will force him to confront some of his old season 1 issues.
- Not to mention the following: The impact about Chuck's shooting and questions about his health will last all season; Chuck will have some questions about his education later in the season; Blair will be discovering her major; Dorota's baby will create some conflict with the Waldorfs, probably because Eleanor gets too attached; Billy Baldwin should be back in the second half of the season; Eric will be struggling in high school without Jenny.
- According to SpoilerTV Eva sticks around for at least three episodes.
- According to TV Guide, Connor Paolo will have more screentime next season to make up for the absence of Jenny. Boyfriend will be involved.
- According to Vulture, Chuck/Blair/Serena will film the first two episodes in Paris. There will be some kind of mystery that needs to be solved and a mysterious appearance by someone from home. Paris will greatly affect the direction of season 4.
- According to Billy Baldwin, there will be a heartbreaking ending to Dr. vdW's story, but there is also a potential for him to return.
- Stephanie Savage says that they will be introducing a major new character in season 4.

It seems they are filming now B's bday:
Quote:
"Gossip Girl" has no dearth of fashion, but it's about to up the glam ante this season.

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe will make a cameo in one of the show's upcoming episodes, as part of a storyline based on Blair Waldorf's (Leighton Meester) 20th birthday party, a source confirms to the Daily News.

"Rachel plays herself in the scene and has a handful of lines to remember,” the insider said, adding that designer Cynthia Rowley and Elle magazine's creative director, Joe Zee, will also make guests appearances in the same episode.

In town to attend New York Fashion Week, Zoe was reportedly able to squeeze some time into her busy schedule - which includes the Bravo reality series "The Rachel Zoe Project" - to shoot her small role at Silvercup Studios in Queens Tuesday morning.

Despite making her name as a stylist to the stars, Zoe has agreed to be dressed by the show's respected wardrobe department for her appearance, the insider adds.

Zoe's cameo is only the tip of the show's style iceberg this season.

"Gossip Girl" will also devote two September episodes to Fashion's Night Out, the recent multi-city charitable shopping event founded by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, to feature cameos by Vogue's European editor-at-large, Hamish Bowles, and contributing editor Lauren Santo Domingo.

Oh that's interesting about Rachel Zoe.

Aww Josh.

he's all

The other scenes in the episode are good and I'm going to let you enjoy the episode but the Chuck & Blair scene is the best scene of all time.

for B's 20th birthday! (Chuck better find a way to crash it or I'll )

I'm reading the Daily Intel recaps and this one made me

Quote:
+20 for Lily's face when Georgina hands her the baby. She looks terrified like "What do I do with this thing? Is there an off button?" Obviously some nanny or one of the Klauses took care of Eric/Serena. Or perhaps they were raised by wolves and the wolves were just coming back to take Serena home when the car crashed last season.

So 4.07 might be Blair's b-day? That's earlier than supposed to...

I don't think that there will be CB sex in 4.07/4.08. Looks like the war is still going on. I don't see GG pulling out angry sex. Maybe just Blair in lingerie scene?

Someone should twitter that to Josh.

It's sad but all the premiere did was confirm to me that yes, Josh and ss do enjoy traumatizing cb fans... Because they CAN. damn you, EL and your explosive chemistry!!! *shakes fist* I honestly want to like Louis/Blair - for blairs sake.. But watching BL and even CEva all I could think was... Dull. Dull dull dull. No one comes close to CB, TPTB know that, and therefore beat the hell out of all our poor hearts in the process... Because at the end of the day, I'll just never BUY anyone but CB with each other - no matter what they do to each other. And despite everything I'm looking forward to that train station scene like a freaking kid at Christmas. It's not healthy!!!

I think they are already on 4.08, so... a little better? It coincides with 1.08, at least.

The thing is, this is one of the few times where I DON'T think JS is talking out of his ass or blowing hot air. The man can recognize quality when he sees it: I remember him praising the Nate-Blair scene in 2x19 as one of the best they've done, and I totally agree. It's just that he doesn't put that much effort into the show anymore.

Because at the same time, Blair is also very vulnerable and insecure. She's also heartbroken and desperate to find some happiness. I thought the episode was amazing for her because it managed to bring out this balance. I can't hate her for being a bit out of touch and exuding classism when they give her things like that last scene with Serena. I don't need the characters that I admire to be perfect or upstanding 24/7.
itsalright, we don't always see eye to eye, I think, but I just have to say WORD to this entire post. I agree with everything you said.

I was very impressed with the actor that played the Prince. I really hope he comes back
IA, Sandra. I don't really know what it was, but I found him so much more appealing and likeable than Marcus, and I think the acting as well as the better writing had a lot to do with it.

Also, Blair and Louis talking in French =

As for Blair's snobbishness: it's one of her flaws, but it's a consistent character trait and I find it believable. I also think it was intensified in 4x01 because of her pain over Chuck and her insecurities about Serena: there was a lot more going on there than just snobbishness IMO. The double date was so awkward and painful, but I thought it was true to character and I felt for Blair, Serena, and Louis during the entire s/l.
