Well, there's a May 4th reference and I think the finale date won't air that early.

I think it is more likely to be 7x22 airing on May 1st.

Agree...I think it will be doing set up for the finale episodes. I consider 7.23 and 7.24 finale episodes because just like last year some characters will have their finale in one while others in the other. Shamy had theirs in 6.23 last season and Lenny's in 6.24. I think they will do something similar this season (maybe different ordering, etc., but still we will see a split in finale). PP episode is something leading up to those. It is ground-laying for the finale.

My guess is 7.22 because that airs on 5/1 and since they talk about 5/4 in the episode that would be the closest to that date. Although they may want Bob's appearance for their first May sweeps night on 4/24 so it could go 7.21 as well. But it most likely will be one of those two.

What I love about that whole remark is the first part of it, when he mentions Amy has changed him into an "affectionate and open-minded" person he gets sort of softer look on his face and a bit of a smile, and then the second half he gets intense and adamant when he says "and that stops now". It is such an amazing small nuiance in the facial expressions that say so much in that one sentence. Amazing acting by Jim. Kudos to him! But I love how he is just so talented that way. He can make it seem almost like he is dreamy and happy at first when he starts the sentence, and yet so affected by it and adamant and intense in the latter half of the sentence.

It definitely affects him, but what I see is an internal struggle within him. He likes who he has become in his heart, but his head is still trying to gain control and demand he remain robotic in nature so he allows the brain to take over briefly through the "break-up". But somewhere that other "heart" side is going to come forward, along with the logic and reasoning Amy walks him through that satisfies his mind side that he will be at peace again. It is going to be amazing to watch.
