Determined to put on a brave face, Alison returns to also help heal the damage she did years ago. But are apologies enough for those who Alison has hurt in the past? Not if Mona and her army have anything to say about it.

Meanwhile, Caleb and an old foe return to Rosewood.

And we might find out that Hanna’s a little damaged when Ali returns, so they’re both in a very vulnerable position together." I think he expects things to go back to the way they were, but she’s not having it. He’s also in a pretty dark place. Spencer & Toby "We'll find out in season five how strong the Spencer and Toby bond is." [source] | "He comes back from London, and he’s just been connecting more with Spencer now that she’s let him in a little bit more. I can promise fans they’ll get exactly what they want and more and maybe they’ll be intrigued by what happens." Aria & Ezra "Those last moments of the finale we really saw that raw emotion of Aria and Ezra and she will remember these feelings: how she almost lost him and how bad they felt. Even when they’re not together, they somehow find their way together, and I think the Ezria fans are going to be very happy in this summer season. Emily & Alison "I just want Emily to be happy, and I wish that for all the girls. It’s going to be interesting having that love triangle coming because Paige and Alison don’t get along that well, so having Alison back and that being Emily’s first love is going to be very interesting to see if anything can develop from that again or if it was anything ever. I'll be pissed if Melissa dies, tbh. As much as I love our Queen and Savior Mona, I'd pick Mona dying over Melissa. Mona knows so much about Ali/A, so it makes sense.

I would pick anyone dying over Melissa, I'm not even gonna lie. We don't even know for sure and I'm already angry about it.

It doesn't make sense. They took time to build the Spencer and Melissa sister dynamic. Sure, they are far from close sisters, but the connection has always been there. Melissa has maintained she has been protecting Spencer. I was waiting for a big payoff. I'm not saying they'd go ride off in the sunset together but I was hoping for a somewhat true sister relationship in the future when this A mess concludes and Spencer realizes her sister truly loves and cares about her. I don't know why they'd take out the time to build something like that and just let it vanish before any payoff. Sucks if it happens.

I guess their idea of payoff is Melissa making the ultimate sacrifice for Spencer. Imo, we already know she would do that, the last thing we need is her actually doing it.

We better be worrying for no reason, tbh. So far this season has been an improvement on 3B/4, but that doesn't mean it can't come crashing down again.

I pretty much expect it to, tbh.

I actually like, Sydney, tbh. Even if she wasn't involved with ~reuniting Paily~, she's cool. I mean, first of all, she's getting Emily back into swimming, which is awesome for Emily (because lbr, you know she missed it). Secondly, she's like one of the few people who isn't involved in the A/Ali stuff and actually like, just accepts Emily doesn't want to talk about it.

I live for those awkward Paily scenes tho.
