2.12: Winter Wonderland
ANNIE’S HIT AND RUN SECRET IS REVEALED AT THE WEST BEVERLY WINTER DANCE — Navid (Michael Steger) is convinced Jasper (guest star Zach Sherman) pushed him down the stairs and turns to Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) to help reveal the information. Annie (Shenae Grimes) is confronted by her friends about Jasper’s drug dealing but when she confronts him about the news he reveals his suspicions about her involvement in the hit and run. Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Silver (Jessica Stroup) decide to spend Christmas break in St. Barts but first make an appearance at the beach club for the winter dance. Teddy (Trevor Donovan) reveals his feelings for Silver, causing Dixon (Tristan Wilds) to be jealous, while Naomi and Liam (Matt Lanter) attempt to forgive each other for what happened with Jen (Sara Foster, who does not appear in the episode). Debbie (Lori Loughlin) attempts to spend some quality time with Dixon by taking him to the arcade. Rob Estes and Ryan Eggold also star.

The Ausiello Files has been told exclusively, and then of course ran right to you to blab, that Hal Ozsan has nabbed the high-profile recurring role. Though the actor’s name might not be familiar to you, chances are you do know the actor himself. He played Todd Carr on Dawson’s Creek, Michael Cassidy on Kyle XY, and was seen earlier this season shaving years off gamblers’ lives on Supernatural. Source

Kelly Lynch has signed on to 90210 to play a new love interest to English teacher Ryan Matthews, TVGuide.com has confirmed.Lynch will play Laurel, a fortysomething, pot-smokin’ hottie who has a whirlwind romance with Matthews (Ryan Eggold). She has quite a history under her belt, as evidenced by her colorful stories about various rock stars and celebrities. There is, of course, more to Laurel than at first appears. Ausiello: He reacts like you’d expect an ex-boyfriend to react: like a big ol’ ass. “Navid is a little freaked out about it,” says exec producer Rebecca Sinclair. “He’s like, ‘Whoa, what did I do? I just turned my girlfriend gay! What does this say about me!’”

Ausiello: Hey! I do. There’s a catfight coming up between Naomi and another female character that will put Alexis and Krystle’s legendary lily pond brawl to… okay, it’s not as good as that one, but it’s still pretty damn memorable.

Actually, he’s going to discover the truth sooner than later, but it seems his passionate, crazy love for Miss Wilson will keep him from ratting her out… that doesn’t mean she won’t get caught though. MICKEY: Well, Kerry, everyone knows that happy couples equal deadly-boring TV. They had to break them up. The good news is that the spring episodes are promising a major lovefest when three (yes, three!) couples reconcile within the space of a few weeks. On the other hand, Teddy Montgomery and Kelly Taylor will be left out in the cold.

After all the deception, are Liam and Annie actually going to sleep together on 90210? — Mischa
MICKEY: Not anytime soon, says Matt Lanter, who plays Liam, but I’m hearing that we’ll have more to discuss later in the season, when Liam and Annie find each other at interesting, complementary places in their lives.

We’d almost forgotten about Navid’s family business too, but Michael Steger tells us that 90210 is about to delve into the adult film biz: “We’re going to see my parents again. They’re going to talk more about the porn industry, and a lot of dirty details from my Dad’s past are going to surface.” With Navid’s journalistic chops, we’re curious to see if he’s the one who uncovers the dirty deets.

I'm liking 90210 again. Any scoop? — Mitchell MICKEY: Keep the Kleenex on standby, Mitchell, because we're going to have ourselves a good old-fashioned suicide attempt in the zip code! Without sounding morbid, the offing method is pretty cool, and while it won't be successful, it will spell the end of one main character's time on the show.
