with blair we saw all the reasons and insecurities behind her actions. jenny is just doing it to do it. and with Blair she controlled her minions, jenny's minions control her. i just don't like her

You guys think Blair is the only one feeling insecurity? Jenny is too. She is really insecure and complexed by her Brooklyn origin and we get to ee this. Before the cotillon, she said something ''Goodbye Jenny from Brooklyn'' or something like this, or when she threw away all the things that attached her to her past, to her real self. So, Jenny has insecurities too. Maybe it is not as obvious than Blair's ones, because Jenny gets less screentime and also Jenny is thougher than Blair.(Im not saying Blair is not strong, I love Blair and I think both Jenny and Blair are strong girls, but Jenny is thougher. Well I dont know if its the good word. My native language is french so I dont know all the right words. I mean, Jenny does not show her emotions much. ) And also, I think Jenny's biggest fear has always been reject. It was hinted that Jenny has always been on her own, without much friends. I would not even be surprised if she was bullied in her past. So, Jenny grows up alone, without much friends and with parents with a strained relationship. Her mother goes away from hme to live with another man and it looks like there is not a lot of contact betwee Jenny and her mom. So, I can totally get why Jenny fears rejection. And all her storylines were based on this. In season 1, she tried to convince her mother to stay with Rufus and she tried to be accepted by Blair and her minons at school. In season 2, she tried to be accepted by the world of her dream, the fashion industry. And now, in season 3, for the first time of her life, she has the possibility to be accepted by everyone, since she is Queen. At first, she thought thgat now she is Queen, people would accept her the way she is, so she tried to bring down the monarchy. But, Blair and the mean girls show her she was wrong. This is why she is putting all this Ice Queen act, IMO and that she is slowy losing her true-self. Sorry for my english

It's funny, I love Blair when she's bitchy, because her bitchiness is usually done in a comical way, but I hate Jenny when she's bitchy, because she comes off as just being mean just for the sake of being mean and because she's so desperate to be Queen Bee that she'll sell her soul for it and be someone she isn't.
