• Joy sang three songs at the USO concert, one solo, one with Enation and a war themed song with Amber Sweeney. We'll have to wait to see which song makes the actual episode - 2008/09/19. (credit to Rebecca)
  
  
• Joy, Hilarie, Sophia, Joe, Ashley, and Jackson were all in attendance. I don't know what scenes their characters will be in at the concert. Chad and James were not there, so the assumption is that they will film some studio scenes of Lucas and Nathan backstage, or possibly in the crowd, at a later date - 2008/09/19. • Scene 06: Dan tells Haley that he wants her back. She replies that she'll never go back, and that's final. He grabs her and kisses her hard, before she pushes him away and wipes her mouth. She tells him that someone will stand up to him one day, and she can't wait to see it. He asks her to sing something nice for him, and tells her to "break a leg," before walking away and leaving Haley slightly rattled.
  
  
• Scene 07: Haley's name is announced, and she walks onstage wearing a long stunning gown.
  
  
• Scene 10: Haley finishes her set, and receives a round of applause before making her way over to the bar. A drunk patron harasses her, which leads to Nathan slamming the drunk man's head off the bar. Nathan eyes Haley and asks if she's okay. Haley says yes, but suggests that he should cut the drunk guy off. Nathan smiles and replies that maybe he should give the guy a drink on the house. Haley asks him why.

6.12 Side Summaries

• Scene 09: NH's House. Garage. Morning 1. Jamie stands on Nathan's shoulders, reaching for something on a shelf. Nathan explains that he's going to a combine, a tryout where coaches from professional basketball teams will watch him play. Jamie asks if they'll pick him for the NBA. Nathan responds that they won't be from the NBA, but they will be from teams right before the NBA. He then asks if Jamie has found what he was looking for.
  
  
• Scene 15: Gym. Morning 1. Nathan arrives at the gym, and approaches the sign-up table. A coach asks for his name and affiliation. Nathan responds with his name, and tells the coach he attended the University of Maryland. The coach then asks who invited Nathan to the tryout, and Nathan stumbles, before responding that he wasn't invited. The coach begins to turn Nathan away, remembering Nathan's accident. Nathan begins to plead with the coach, who simply shrugs his apology. Dejected, Nathan turns to leave, but is stopped by the voice of Bobby, the former GM from Fort Wayne. Bobby tells the coach that he invited Nathan, before turning to a grateful Nathan and telling him to go get ready. End of Act One.
  
  
• Scene 18: Locker Room. Day 1. Nathan writes "Q.F. #44" and "J.S. #12" on a pair of green basketball shoes. A basketball player named Nino asks Nathan whose shoes they are. Nathan replies that they're his. Nino knows that - but whose are they? Ray Allen? Nathan responds plainly that he knows what the question was, and he meant what he said: they're his shoes. Disbelieving, Nino mocks Nathan that a guy with a shoe contract wouldn't be trying out for the B league. Nathan shrugs and continues to put on his shoes, as Nino continues mocking him about his "Green Elf shoes." Other players in the locker room laugh, but Nathan turns to Nino with his game face on.
  
  
• Scene 19: Gym. Day 1. Nathan jumps vertically in to the frame in slow motion, as the coaches measure his vertical leap. Nathan's shoes appear directly in front of Nino's face as the coach calls out that Nathan jumped 37 inches. Other players call out their approval. Nathan turns to Nino, taunting him about getting a close look at Nathan's shoes. Bobby smiles at Nathan still being the "warrior" he remembers.
  
  
• Scene 20: Gym. Day 1. Nathan is bench pressing 180 pounds with ease, as the coaches count his reps. The total quickly reaches 16... and counting.
  
  
• Scene 21: Gym. Day 1. Nathan sprints the length of the court as the coaches click their stopwatches. Nathan completes the drill in 3.19.
  
  
• Scene 22: Gym. Day 1. Nathan stands shirtless, arms outstretched, as his wingspan is measured. Bobby teases that Nathan has let himself go. The coaches laugh, but are obviously impressed.
  
  
• Scene 26: Gym. Day 1. Nathan is waiting in line behind Nino, who is having his measurements taken. Nino talks to Nathan, remembering he played for Maryland, and is the fool who got into a fight right before the draft. The man measuring Nino calls out that he's 6'5". Nathan steps up, and holds his breath as the coaches measure him. The coaches wince when they hear that Nathan is only 6'2", and Nino taunts that a 6'2" shooting guard would only be able to play in a rec league. Bobby steps up and tells the players to split into groups. Point guards on the left, shooting guard, on the right. Nathan stalls for a moment before joining the point guards. Bobby is confused that Nathan isn't with the shooting guards.
  
  
• Scene 35: Gym. Day 1. Nino is impressed by Nathan's show on the court. He holds out his fist, which Nathan accepts. Nino still thinks the shoes are ugly, but Nathan seems like a good guy. Nathan asks what time it is, and Nino tells him it's 7 o'clock, before cracking up about how serious Nathan is. Nathan quickly gathers his belongings and heads toward the locker room. Bobby stops him, and asks if Nathan has a second. Nathan responds that he can give Bobby a second, but he really has to leave. The coaches want to take another look at Nathan's back. Nathan turns to Bobby and the coaches, and asks if they have children and families to get back to.
  
  
• Scene 38: Jamie is up on stage, telling jokes and repeatedly playing the melody to "The First Noel" - flubbing it badly. Having finished his stand-up routine, Jamie rises from the piano and basks in a standing ovation.
  
  
• Scene 51: NH's House. Jamie's Bedroom. Night 1. Haley looks on as Nathan puts Jamie to bed. Nathan is telling Jamie about the combine, and how one of the guys was scared of him, backing off as Nathan got closer. Nathan asks Jamie what he thinks Nathan did next. A three-pointer, nothing but net? Nathan laughs, clearly in love with his son. Nathan tell Jamie he's proud of him for taking something that should have beaten him, and turning it into something great. Jamie says he's proud of Nathan for the same reason. Haley finally walks in and says it's time for Jamie to get some sleep. Jamie asks for a nursery rhyme.
