Inuyasha: there's nothing wrong being a half-demon

I don't think I saw any Inyasha thread. I'm surprised 'cos I see lots of people here on FF mentioning that they like the anime.

Anyone saw Inuyasha the final cut? Is it me or was it way too fast? Too many things happening with the limited episodes they made.

Well this week, I looked up for Inuyasha news and read that Inuyasha was made into a play. Here's a video:

I liked watching the anime series

MsPerfectionist 08-05-2013 06:53 AM

Did you watch the final cut?

Sunnyolaf 09-07-2013 02:27 AM

That's really cool that they made it into a play. I'm still working my way through the manga and am only on the 5th episode of the anime.

I'm looking forward to when Shippo appears in the anime because he is so cute.

canflam 09-07-2013 01:15 PM

Which is your favorite character so far?

Sunnyolaf 09-07-2013 07:02 PM

It's so hard to choose just one. Each manga I read it seems to change. Overall I would have to say Kagome and Inuyasha. But Shippo is the cutest thing ever and pretty hard to resist along with Rin.

Have you read the manga or watched the anime?

canflam 09-08-2013 02:07 PM

I've seen some of the anime. It still airs on Adult Swim in the U.S. I believe though very early in the morning. I haven't read the Manga yet.

Sunnyolaf 09-08-2013 02:41 PM

So far I'm enjoying the anime. I'm watching the subbed version so I have to watch when I have no distractions.

MsPerfectionist 09-09-2013 06:56 AM

yeah I know what you mean but the original voices are always better.

Sunnyolaf 09-09-2013 07:17 AM

That's why I have a hard time with dubbed because sometimes the voices just don't match the character. I've found for me subtitles are the way to go. They are also easier to find most of the time.

canflam 09-09-2013 01:29 PM

How are they not matching? Are they deeper voices?

Sunnyolaf 09-09-2013 02:44 PM

I don't know how to describe it. Some animes like Fruits Basket I was fine with the dubbed voices. But others the voice doesn't seem to match how I thought they would sound when I readthe manga. Like I except a deep voice and it turns out soft or vice versa. I think in the end it comes down to the person watching because I know lots of people do like the dubbed version better.

Overall, the dubbed voices for Inuyasha were good.
