I don't think I have ever heard of Black Manta before. The cover says it's a prelude to Aquaman. Did the Black Manta develop into Aquaman or are they separate stories?

Black Manta debuted in Aquaman #35 during 1967 & he is the archenemy of Aquaman. That cover that Lyndell posted in here is of the 3rd issue of a miniseries.
