I can't believe there isn't a thread for this wonderful show. I hope that one they come out with a DVD or something. I think they were absolutely adorable. Especially Alvin.

What a wonderful thread idea, Darth! Is this cartoon even still on the air?

It's not. I believe it ended in 1991? Or that's when NBC stopped airing re-runs. But they are just absolutely adorable. I wish I could see them again.

I loved this show! It was so adorable! "Alvin, Simon, Theodore do do do do do!" I love the theme song! :lol:

I went through a brief Alvin & the Chipmunks phase. My favorite was Alvin.

Yes, Alvin was the best although Theodore was cute too and Alvin could get on my nerves sometimes.

Yup, Alvin was my favorite too-- although Simon was funny at times..but the 3 of them complement each other.. why do good carttoons end?

It was one of my favorite cartoons growing up.

Cartoon Network for a while was playing Alvin for a while, but I'm not sure if they are anymore.

Does anyone remember the one movie they had, where they were flying around in the hot air balloons? I used to watch that all of the time. I wish I could find a copy of it now so I could see it again. Oh well....

I bought it at Walmart for $6.88 Canadian funds :lol: It's one of my faves, and I love the music...

I must chime in and say how much I love the Chipmunks movie! When I was younger I used to rent it all the time. :sigh:

I rented the Chipmunks movie the other day. I love the Chipettes hair after they go through the hurricane. It's such a cute movie.

They are little cuties!

My hubby can't stand watching them due to their voices, but I love the chipmunk voices. They're exactly how I'd imagine a chipmunk to sound ;).

The chipmunks were cool, but I liked the Chippettes better. they seemed to get better storylines.
