Sorry...just had to let that out. **covers face with hands in shame**
No need to cover your face darling, I know exactly how you feel! I start thinking about it every night before I fall asleep. When I'm lying in my bed and everything's quiet around me... That's when it gets to me the most.

oh and I meant to reply to this last night too!

I think the fairy tale is really just that - I always wanted to fall deeply madly in love too but when my husband and I met it really wasn't like that and now we've been married for 14 years it still isn't like that! not that I don't love him but it has never been like I imagined it would be!

Tery - Oh yes! That's when it hits me, too. When I'm alone in my room and everything is quiet. Then, reality sits in and I feel lonely.

Kim - I think my parents are that way, too. They've been together for 35 years. I've never seen them be romantic the fairy tale way. But then, why do people make movies and write books that depict romance like that? That surely must be art immitating life, right? Where else would they know how it feels like to be that much in love? I mean, there must be people out there living out their 'fairy tales'. At least, I would like to believe that.

That's exactly what I think!
Everytime I watch a romantic movie or read a romance novel I know that those kind of stories don't happen very often in real life, but sometimes they do...

I have 2 friends who have been dating for two years now, they're in love beyond belief and he's terribly romantic and does the most beautiful things for her. But on the other hand, he's pretty posessive and can make her miserable. I guess a relationship can never be perfect.

Have any of you seen the 1983 mini series The Thorn Birds? I bought the DVD and saw it this weekend. OMG! Talk about a COMPLICATED romance. Very passionate, but very sad. I guess that's why one should never fall in love with a Catholic priest.

I agree. No relationship is perfect, but that's why one must work hard at it. That's what I think. You know, keep the fire burning. Damn! I've been reading too many fanfics.

SASHA, I think I must go check out this Thorn Birds DVD. Thanks.

Definitely check it out, Liz. This site does a GREAT job of capping the series' highlights.

I think I saw Thorn Birds when I was younger, the plot and the characters/actors seem familiar. I'll watch it again if I get the chance!

Guys, yesterday was my very first day of college! I'm a freshman now! Or is it freshwoman?
Anyway, we've only had introduction classes, next week it'll be the real deal!
Oh, and I think I made a huge mistake by picking Italian over English!

Congrats, Maja! I wish I knew Italian. I can pick some of it up, but it'd be nice to be fluent. Good luck!

My pleasure. It was an interesting 8 hours, to say the least. Too bad for Richard Chamberlain's female admirers. He recently announced he's gay.

Thanks Sasha!
I learned Italian in highschool, but our teacher took maternity leave so I only had her for 2 years. With our substitutes, we mostly fooled around during lessons and they taught us nothing. I can understand Italian, but I have problems speaking the language. So I'm expecting problems with my classes in college.

I'm so sorry to hear that Kim! I hope the pain goes away soon and they remove the stiches as soon as possible.
Come back soon!
