Thank God [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]. A doctor is much better. Man, Keanu's so cool, and keeps working with cool, interesting people. I love that he's not afraid to work with people without much experience as long as he believes in them or in the project. This director sounds interesting. Hell, if he's a partner of Roman Coppola he has to be.

BIG NEWS!!

Reeves is set for new Sci-Fi movie Keanu Reeves is set to star in 'A Scanner Darkly', an adaptation of the Philip K Dick novel. Variety reports that 'School of Rock' director Richard Linklater is in talks to helm the film and also wrote the most recent draft of the script. The film tells the story of undercover agents in the future who change their faces and identities with Reeves playing an agent who develops a split personality. 'A Scanner Darkly' will be produced by George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh's company Section 8 and shooting is set to begin in May.

I don't know when it will be out, but it was apparently already filmed last summer in Oregon. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

Plot Outline: A compulsive thumbsucker (Pucci) who's ignored by his aloof parents (Swinton, D'Onofrio), turns to his debate coach (Vaughn) and orthodontist (Reeves) to break him of his habit.

Synopsis: Dubbed "the King Kong of oral obsessives" by his hippie dentist, Justin Cobb is a 16-year-old desperate to find a way to break this embarrassing habit he has retained since infancy. His father, a former football star, tries to help by providing an antidotal cayenne-pepper cream and a healthy dose of fly-fishing. His mother, who works as a nurse helping the rich and famous sober up, seems more concerned with a fantasy romantic relationship with TV-star Don Johnson than with her son's problems. Hypnosis seems to work, but the problem surfaces in other forms from drug addiction to alcoholism.

It seems interesting and with a cool cast also. I swear I love how 'ballsy' he's with his choices. He never seems to make two similar projects. He's always choosing something different, challenging. Gotta love an actor who does that.
