Yeah, I actually believe that now.

I can barely walk today, and I had an easy day of office therapy yesterday.

It hurts going from room to room.

Dr. Steve, my Dr, showed me an exercise to stretch my hip and the muscles, so that will help, in time.

The good news is that being sore is proof that you worked hard and did something.

The bad news is that it's not exactly motivating to keep going.

But it gets better, doesn't it?

I sure hope so.

Right now I'm hurting a lot worse than before I was put on muscle relaxers.

But in pool therapy last week, she had me standing on my right leg almost the whole time, and that's the side of me that I have had problems with. So, we'll probably stretch the right muscles this week.

Unless the muscle relaxers contain ingredients you're allergic to, I don't think they'd be the cause of your added pain.

Or maybe that's because mine have been so good to me.

I'm thinking standing on your "bad" leg has more to do with it.

But, of course, you can't get stronger on that leg unless you use it in controlled circumstances, like therapy.

Thanks. That's good to know.

I think the biggest problem is that I am constantly tense-all my muscles. so it hurts when they're stretched and exercised.

It's just going to take time and patience, of which I have little.

Don't think of it as needing patience.

Think of it as needing to have persistence.

And you know you have that and a lot of it.

Ultimately, being impatient is probably normal in these circumstances, anyway.

Who wouldn't want to see things improve as soon as possible?

What kind of moron would be going, "Yeah, I want things to get better, but only in good time."

No, what's important is that you keep going, you keep at it, because you know there will be results.

Good point. I hadn't thought of it that way.
