Karen and I have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 15 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

It's a bit tough for me, because for so long Sunny and I worked so hard to get the board here, and it was something I spent a lot of time and energy in for so long. But over the past several years it has just gotten harder and harder for me to enjoy and find the time to post. And without the show airing you ore, there is just no need dragging it out.

Would you prefer a thread on the TV Board for Third Watch, now that we are closing the board? And/or a thread on the communities board?

I know y'all have worked long and hard on this board long after the show has stopped airing. As long as there is a thread somewhere to still keep in touch, I'm happy. I rarely drop by here anymore except to say hi to y'all

Karen, you've thought about the closure for much longer than I have, so I think you'll probably have a better idea of what would work best.

If you wish to continue to discuss the show then a thread on the television board would be best. Otherwise if you just want to keep in touch then I would recommend naming a board or thread where you are likely to find each other in the future .
