Sophy To answer your question, I’m going to go to my friend’s place for New Years. I usually do. His parents throw this party at their lodge; it has 60 something bunk beds, so we can all stay the night. I get to see some of my college buds that I haven’t seen all year. It’s nice.

sunny sure! I would love to do it again! Maybe, one day, when we'll both be free, I could come over to your house and you could make me watch lots and lots of movies!

I've been sick! yesterday, I went to work, and I started feeling dizzy and really not well. After two hours, my co-workers pushed me into telling my boss, who send me home. And today, I was suppose to work too, but I'm still not feeling well so she told me to stay home. Now I feel really guilty about missing hours (I actually calculated the cash I was losing by being sick!) Yup, I'm not a big fan of missing work. Especially since I'm still in my "trial" phase and I don't want to lose that job! I love it too much! But anyway, i've taken Advil cold and sinus every 4 hours and watched plenty of Alias, I should be fine by tomorow!

Tonight, I'm going to my godmother's house. We'll eat, exchange gifts, then wait 'til midnight drinking some kind of wine, then my godmother will cry and we'll all hug and say happy new year. I can't wait!

Also, I'm in mourning too! Orbach was supposed to start a new L&O series! I wonder how they will handle it on the other shows. I was trying to tell my freind that he had died, but she didn't have a clue until I told her it was Baby's Dad from Dirty Dancing... then she clued in!

CB, sorry my dear I falsely accused you! I think it was Scary that jinxed me! Oh and enjoy your one inch of snow!

Car, We were made to write the letters when we were young, its just a carry over thing now! Don't feel badly, hardly anyone does it anymore.

Mich I love the fire channel!! We don't look too much different anymore. I bottomed my car the other day and now I have ice in my steering column, so my steering wheel is making weird creaking noises! I know from experience though that it will melt out and be fine!

Someone asked what SVU was... Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. The show that is slowly creeping up on my TWness

everyone! Happy New Year's Eve!

I'm excited about the new year - getting closer to the end of the last semester, TW eppys of course, Bosco.... But at the same time, I don't want Christmas break to end, and my siblings to go off again.

Why am I soooo exhausted?

I heard about Orbach's death and was shocked too. It was creepy because I'd just watched a L&O rerun like the day before. But so sad

Ok. Off to make an appointment for the kitty..... ::crosses fingers::

Ok ... hubby and I went and picked up our new car today! A Toyota Corolla with a sunroof!

Pic #4: I had to have a pic making sure you realized I wasn't fat. I thought the first pic made me look like I had a big belly.

Anyhow, an FYI, it was super WINDY, and I don't have 80's style big hair normally.

Just got word that it is -30C without windchill right now :Brr: Will this winter never end?

Oh and for the shopping today... I did so well I only bought 2L of Milk and 3 bananas for a total of $3.73 I'm so losing my mind!

Hey guys!! Yes, I said that i was going to finally join you guys during my one week breakster! Well, I was wrong! Was busy after all catching up with things that I never got a chance to do!!

Monday, I was finally able to shampoo the inside of my car!

Tuesday, took the car the car to Goodyear to get the right front tires checked. And to get it the tires rotated. Turns out there was a nail or screw stuck in there. With all the construction down here in SoFla and me having to go and out of the alley, go figure! :rollseyes:

Wednesday went to an Indian Arts Festival at the Miccosukee Reservation near the Everglades in West Miami-Dade. Exciting as usual!

Thursday, donated some clothes and other goodies to the Goodwill. Also went shopping.

And today? Visited a friend of mine and battled New Years Eve craziness in the rain!

Afte all that I'm still pooped, along with my usual allergies! But I miss posting here!! Argh!!!

Oh, Michelle..thanks for posting pics of the snow. I'm telling ya; the only time I want to venture in snow is to take pics and maybe roll in. How I want to see snow and feel it for the first time!!!

It's officially January 1st and this year is looming ahead like...ugh.. I'm not excited. Well, that's not entirely true. I mean, ok, another grueling semester, being away from my siblings, and exams and crap like that. But, soon, graduation....visiting my brother and sister..... And even before that, new TW episodes and I am sooo anxious for "The Woodsman" movie to come out in theaters around here. Squeeeeee.....

So, as stressful as it can be, there's always something to look forward to.
