What are you up to, Kimmie?

My cleaning lady didn't come today, so she's coming tomorrow instead.

So my day's been long and calm so far.

I got up early and didn't do anything, so I'm tired and not doing much.

No racing this weekend, so I've been packing up the Easter decorations.

I'm putting out other knick knacks of mine that I don't see regularly, so that's fun.

And I've been catching up on recorded shows.

I can relate to getting up early and being tired, so just doing not much the better part of the day.

Hopefully you read some, or just enjoyed your day off.

I love how much you enjoy changing the scenery inside your house.

I don't decorate my house at all, but I do feel some vicarious joy.

So, tonight was the Easter supper for us.

It was a lot of fun.

Next up will be a lunch at the sugar shack, somewhere in the middle of April.

In the meantime, the cleaning lady came today with her daughter as a helper.

So my house is all nice and tidy.

I am really tired, though.

Two days in a row of getting up "early" is not what holidays are made for.

Plus a few other things.

I'm glad Easter supper went well. We had ours Saturday.

Yeah, vacations are definitely meant for sleeping in.

Sunny I'm doing pretty good.

But getting stuff done, for myself, is helping mentally.

I'm learning to pace myself. Which is a good thing, and a new thing, for me.

I think I may be coming down with either a bit of a cold or seasonal allergies or something.

It's nothing massive, but just annoying.

Like a mosquito.

I'm taking things easy and hoping it flushes out quickly.

People here are really having a tough time with allergies so far this season.

I hope that you are feeling better soon.

It hasn't been warm enough yet for allergies here.

And it was raining today, so I guess that could have been the end of it.

But I was certainly feeling better on that front today.

So I don't know.

Maybe I just had some sniffles yesterday.

Coloring with the awesome pencils.

It's much easier for me, and really pretty. I can shade things, which is great.

Well, I say "trouble"... I started a new Milly Johnson novel.

I really should have known better than to do that before going to bed!

Busy here. I work this weekend. Thursday was Dad's birthday, Friday my anniversary. Yesterday would've been Mom and Dad's anniversary.

Kimmie I finished her book last night.

I haven't slept much in the last couple of days, so I don't know how hard it'll be tomorrow at work, but I figured it was better to finish it when I still could sleep in the next day.

How was the truck race?

I would imagine it's easier to keep track of what's going on with larger vehicles...

But then I can't imagine you'd keep watching the regular races if you hadn't figured out a way to keep track of things there as well.
