Carol it's good to see you over here. How are things going? Are you on summer break yet?

Karen & Sunny I hope you both are feeling better. And, Karen & Carol I'm glad to hear your homes are safe as well. I had no idea what had been going on with the weather.

Faith died a couple of days before I got out of the Hendersonville hospital.
Sad I didn't get to say goodbye to her.

Not having the surgery until I can get a bone density test. And, can find another Medicaid surgeon. This one, as soon as medicaid approved the surgery, started calling 3-5 times a day trying to force me to schedule. No way I trust them now.

And I am soooo sooo very sorry about Faith, but you know in your heart that she knew how much you loved her. Part of me thinks she waited until you were gone to let go and pass on so that you didn't have to handle that, too. I think animals, and people, sometimes have a way of sensing those things. I know you'd've liked to have been there, but sometimes we don't NEED to be, if that makes sense.

How are you feeling? Are you getting better?

Yeah, I absolutely believe animals and people sense things like that, and that she did know how much I loved her. And, I do believe she was protecting me, because that would have been so hard to be here.
Just a quick hello to everyone!

I'm thrilled to see you all so active over the weekend.

Super glad to see you, Kimmie. I hope it means everything is on the right track and that you're feeling better.

I'm doing my level best not to be driven batty by the absence of access to the Internet from home.

My stepfather got a look at my laptop yesterday and it turns out that the problem is a little more complex than he thought.

Turns out, when I tripped on the wire, it busted a part Inside the laptop. It wasn't just a power surge.

So now he's looking to see if he can't put together a new laptop from spare parts, because the one I was using won't work again because of that part being deformed in the accident.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Oh Sunny, I'm sorry. I know it's frustrating with the computer.

Anyhow, not much to report here. We actually have a little sun today!

Sunny thank you. I'm definitely taking the steps to make things better.

Very glad you popped in to see us!

Yep, going batty without a computer comes naturally, especially when you've used to being able to use it and connect whenever you want.

Sending you some relaxing energy. And fingers and toes crossed for you.

Karen, yay for sun! It makes life seem so much happier.

Carol! Good to see you.

I forgot for the new thread, and thanks SO much!

Seriously.

This weekend, I'd thought I'd go to the movies for something to do... Except I didn't know what was playing, where or when since no computer.

I bank online. I shop online. I plan my grocery trips online.

Gah.

It'll be fine, of course. But I'm just realizing how central to my life that computer is.

Anyway, look at me. Couldn't stay away, even though I'm not allowed to be here.

It's awesome to see you, I just worry about you getting into trouble.

I hope you get yours back soon so you can do all that life stuff on there again.

How are you doing otherwise???

Yeah, computers have become central to our lives. Living in this little town, without my computer, I'd be able to take care of my business, but I'd be the loneliest person on the planet.

I got called for jury duty, but because of my many disabilities and issues I'm cleared till 2017 when they will review my status again.

See my new psychitrist July 1. This week I had my therapist.

Going to Walmart to find something suitable (shorts and a bathing suit top, and a dark shirt) to wear for pool therapy.

Not a bathing suit kind of girl-it makes me too self conscious, and I'd be tense the whole time.

Whatever you need to be comfortable will probably be fine with your therapis, Kimmie.

I think what matters is that you're doing the work, you know?

And I don't think you need to ever worry about jury duty. Unless it's done differently where you live. But, here, when you have anxiety issues, that's literally all you need to say to get out of jury duty.

Anyway, I got my computer back!!

I got it last night, but (a) I came home late and (b) I had to configure stuff to get online and I couldn't figure it out on my own, so I had to wait till I could get in touch with my stepfather.

I'm doing good. It was a difficult week, between not being to get online at home and having a lot of work at work (what else is new, right?)

It's the weekend, though, so that's good. It's gonna be a busy one, though.

My cleaning lady is coming tomorrow and we're going to supper at a restaurant for my sister-in-law's birthday. So today is cleaning and possibly grocery shopping.

Because soon I'm gonna have to start cooking again.

Yeah, and the work will be easier in water.

I'm free from jury duty, till 2017. Then a judge will review my file.

On getting your computer back!

Computer is a good thing.

Sounds like a stressful and discombobulating week, Sunny.

And definitely a busy weekend.

I hope that you get some time to just relax and get yourself rested.

Cooking in the kitchen with Suuuunny. What are you planning on making?

Oh, I'm so happy to be back, too.

And, yeah, things are a little stressful at work right now.

It's nothing out of the ordinary per se.

But with a lot of key people going on vacation, it just feels like there are less ressources to either take some of the work but also explain the way to go about what needs to be done.

A lot of what I'm doing these days is stuff I've never done, so I can figure some of it on my own, but it's always nice to have either guidance or straight confirmation.

I also think that being only able to get online from work wasn't helping me last week.

It made it really hard to concentrate, for instance.

I'm gonna need to restock the freezer soon, so I need to start making everything. Pasta sauce, chicken casseroles, chicken slow-cooker recipes, fish bakes... Everything.

We'll see.

How's your week going, Kimmie?

Yeah, it's always hard when you have less resources and more work to explain to other people.

That would become stressful for sure.

I know you're used to it this time of year, but it's still got to take it's toll.

I understand that-it's like you have 100 things on your mind on the computer that you want to do, and you're constantly distracted and trying to accomplish 2 things at once.

Ah, stock up on food time.

My week has been up and down. Accomplished things I hadn't been able to do for a while, in small doses.

Am excited about having a therapist again.

Haven't done too much-it's been a boring week.

Glad to be home, and resettling in though. It's just going to take patience on my part with both my moods, and my physical therapy.

Watched a lot of episodes of shows that were recorded that I missed.

I didn't have a great day at work.

The worse part is that it started off well and I got a lot done.

But it ended on a sucky note, so it ruined my day.

Nothing I can't handle. But it made me mad, is all.

And I don't do well when I'm mad.

Anyway, I'm gonna focus on the positive and look at what I need to buy to get my freezers back to normal.

That ought to take the edge off.

Whatever I can do to distract myself, right?

I'm sorry to hear that Sunny.

Oh I hate getting mad at the end of a day.

Then you just have to deal with it alone.

Yeah, I too find that distraction, or napping, is the best thing to help.

I hope it gets resolved for you.

Counseling went well today. Learned some stuff, and got homework.

I have to use half a posterboard and make a collage of what safe & peace mean to me.
