MEMBORABLE QUOTES

Well, I don't know how great an actress Rebecca Mader is/was in that role.

I'm just saying I appreciated the fact that there was no attempt to redeem this one.

We'll see how things go next season, for sure.

I just caught up to the finale and realized that Hook/Emma happened before Robin and Marian reunited.

So I just hope Emma doesn't use that as a reason to go back on hooking up with Hook.

I don't think she will.

At least I agree with you-and I hope not.

It would be ridiculous to go back on that now.

Did I miss something? Rebecca Mader? Who is that?

The Wicked Witch?

Yeah, I definitely like that there was no attempt to redeem her, if she's who you're talking about.

Thanks for the new thread!

Sorry. Yeah, Rebecca Mader is the actress who played the Wicked Witch on OUAT.

I don't have an opinion on her acting abilities, one way or the other.

I'm really quite neutral.

I just appreciated that they never tried to redeem her.

And it was time for a new thread and I was up, so... :)

There You'll Be 08-04-2014 12:55 PM

 It's nice that we have each other to help with starting new threads.

Ah, see, they call her Bek, or Beks on Twitter when any of the other actors are talking about her-and I didn't put the two together.

Apparently her and Lana are really good friends now.

I'm sure there's a million and one versions of the nickname, but it's usually Bex, isn't it?

I mean, in England, where she's from, it usually sounds like "Bex." I suppose you could write that whichever way you want to, of course.

And I think it's awesome that she and Lana are friends.

I mean, that's just a nice thing to think about, isn't it? People getting along and becoming friends like that. :)

There You'll Be 08-05-2014 04:08 AM

It could be spelled that way.

I honestly couldn't remember when I posted it.

It is nice to know that.

Lana seems so down to earth, and she seems to get along with the cast, and lots of other people she talks about.

To me that says she's a great actress to pull off the Evil Queen, and Regina.

sunnykerr 08-05-2014 07:19 PM

Lana's a great actress, so just on the basis of that, I would imagine she was always appreciated on the OUAT set.

At the same time, I'm guessing the fact that she was the villain of the piece for a long time made it so people noticed even more that she's really, really nice in real life.

And the marketing people probably used that as well.

So it all makes sense to me. :)

It's still nice.

There You'll Be 08-06-2014 12:50 PM

Good points.

I hadn't thought of all those things, but you're right.

And, I think she's awesome, and I love seeing her post.

sunnykerr 08-06-2014 06:12 PM

What kind of things does she post about?

I'm not on Twitter, as you know, so I'm curious. :)

There You'll Be 08-07-2014 05:10 PM

She posts with people like us who post questions and comments to her.

She wishes people happy birthday, etc. and she compliments a lot of Hollywood people.

Directors, writers, actors.

She's always SO grateful for people who wish her well, congratulate her, and wish her happy birthday.

She's just very optimistic.

sunnykerr 08-08-2014 04:05 PM

Well, that just sounds awesome.

It's like she's a real person.

I mean, obviously, she's a real person.

You know what I mean, though, right?

There You'll Be 08-10-2014 04:26 AM

Yeah-it's like she's someone I know.

Like an aquantinance.

It's really nice. None of the other celebs post like that-talking to us rather than at us.

sunnykerr 08-10-2014 09:51 AM

I'm guessing not a whole lot of people period would know how to be that personable on social media.

Trying to think of what I would be like in that situation, and I don't think I'd be that approachable, you know?

So it's really wonderful that she's like that as a person, let alone as a celebrity.

In an oddly related tidbit, the actor Sinqua Wallis (who played Lancelot in season two) was at a fan event recently for another show he was on and he was asked about his experience on OUAT.

His answer what that, bar none, the OUAT cast was the friendliest and most welcoming he'd ever encountered.

So that's nice, right?

And, just in case you're like me and you need a picture to remind you of Sinqua Wallis, here he is:

Oh I most definitely remember Lancelot.

I LOVED his character, and the actor.

And he's super hot. :)

I'm glad to hear the cast is like that.
