Otherwise the talking devil would've been a delirium inside a delirium. I don't think the writers would mess with us that badly.

The only part that was a imagination thing was Major coming back to Liv's and sleeping in her bed. If this scene was a dream, then Major wouldn't have slept on the couch that evening.

^ The only times Major and Liv actually interacted were at the mental hospital and at the very end of the episode. Everything else was just in her head.

There was a significant chunk of the episode that had things in it that were happening only in Liv's imagination, and her and Major crashing Peyton and Ravi's 'date' (which was itself happening only in her head) was one of those things.

Yes.

There were a lot of incongruencies in terms of the way the entire scene sequence played out that, once you're aware of the true extent to which Liv was actually hallucinating things, become obvious clues that the entire thing was one gigantic delusion playing out inside her head.

The scene came across as being a first date, and yet Ravi and Peyton acted like a seasoned couple who had been together long enough to be annoyed by each others' individual 'quirks'. There is also the matter of neither Ravi or Peyton being perturbed by Liv and Major 'crashing their party'.

Ravi does what I think any guy would do in the situation which is, if the girl wants the friend to join he pretends he wants you to but mouths behind her back that you shouldn't. So I don't agree about the second thing.

i had no idea that was a delusion. i still really enjoyed that scene. and now that you explained it it does make scence that it was all in her head
