Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera is set for release in December. I've seen the stage version about three or four times (I've lost count ^_^), and am eagerly looking forward to the movie version.

It's currently in post-production.

I saw the play once and really liked it. I think I am most likely going to see it, but I want to see how the trailer looks.

I have NO idea what the storyline is about, but so I'll be the first in line to see it since Gerard Butler is in it.

It's based on the stage musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, which was based on the classic novel by Gaston Leroux.

Basically, the story is about a disfigured genius (nicknamed "the Phantom" by those who have seen him lurking in the shadows) living in the tunnels beneath the Paris Opera House.

During one of his regular 'haunts', he sees a pretty chorus girl named Christine and falls in love with her, then sets about making her his "angel of music".

Do you know if Gerard Butler has a good singing voice? He's going to be singing a lot in this ^_-
