Crystal Clear

The first WILD THINGS was a brave career move for Neve Campbell I feel as if she was at that point where she wanted to do something different from her school girl image of Julia in PARTY OF FIVE tv show. Always remembered that threesome scene between her, Matt Dillon and Denise Richards!


The only thing that annoyed me about the movie was Denise's character. Did she serve ANY purpose, other than being a sex object?


I liked how it was basically a whole movie of the main group taking advantage of each other, and false identities being thrown around.

The original will always be the best. All of the sequels were bad (which recycled the Florida location and subplots from the original), but the fourth movie is by far the worst of them all. Like the Bring It On series, I would just stick to the original movie, and try to pretend that the sequels don't exist.

I also remember reading an article back in 2006, that Neve Campbell and Denise Richards were going to be in a film called Backstabbers, and it would've reunited many of the cast and crew from the original, but it wouldn't be a direct sequel. I guess it would've been a different plot with similarities to the original, kind of like a reboot with the same cast. It's too bad that didn't happen, because I think it would've been way better than any of the crap sequels that went straight-to-video.

i've only ever watched the original film, and still can't get over the ripping out her teeth with vise-grips scene, so she can set him up. yeesh yuck!
