The Black Phone-I enjoyed it overall…a few good jump scares but I did expect it to be scarier. I enjoy watching Ethan Hawke and James Ransone work together! Well acted by the young actors especially!

Yes. Sounds like an interesting Horror film. I watched ''Siberia'' from 2018 last night.

Movie: ''Siberia''
Year Released: 2018
Starring: Keanu Reeves, Ana Ularu, Boris Gulyarin, & Molly Ringwald, among others.
Plot: ''An American diamond merchant and his lover get caught in the crossfire when a business deal goes wrong in Russia.''
Rating out of 5
Comments: I did enjoy watching Siberia overall. the acting in it I thought was fine. There was not much action in this movie though, which I did think there was going to be more. There was a toughs scene where Keanu Reeves' character & his ''lover'' were doing cocaine I think it was. I think it was to impress others actually. Anyway, Molly Ringwald plays Keanu's wife, but she's hardly in this film. Most of his scenes are with Ana Ularu or Boris Gulyarin I think. I do recommend watching ''Siberia'', but it's slow paced & there is not much action in this film if that's what ones are hoping to see.

finished watching Apollo 13 for the first time a few hours ago

definitely felt very realistic to the actual events and thought the James Horner music score was really good and elevated the movie

great acting all around

really like this scene with Tom and Miko Hughes

Wow. Well, glad you eventually watched ''Apollo 13''.

Movie: ''Afro Samurai: Resurrection''
Year Released: 2009
Starring: Samuel L. Jackson, Lucy Liu, Phil LaMarr, Mark Hamill, & Yuri Lowenthal, among others have voice-overs in ''Afro Samurai: Resurrection''.
Plot: ''The legendary master is forced back into the game by Sio, a deadly woman from his past. She won't stop attacking until Afro gets schooled in the brutal lessons he dealt to those who stood in his way.''
Rating out of 5
Comments: ''Afro Samurai: Resurrection'' is terrific Animated movie I think. There is a a large amount of violence in it & it's not meant for children to see. This film largely has Afro aiming to get a headband back & he takes on anyone willing to try to stop him. There's a good amount of animated blood in this film & profanity. I did enjoy watching ''Afro Samurai: Resurrection''. The battle scenes were well done I think.

Air Force One - Harrison Ford

I didn't care for a lot of scenes...not a fan of extreme terrorist movies.. but with Glenn Close and Harrison Ford great acting

my rating 3.5 out of 5

Movie: ''Act of Violence''
Year Released: 1948
Starring: Van Hefling, Roert Ryan, & Janet Leigh, among others.
Plot: ''A former prisoner of war, Frank Enley (Van Heflin) is hailed as a hero in his California town. However, Frank actually aided his Nazi captors, and he closely guards this secret. Frank's shameful past comes back to visit him when fellow survivor Joe Parkson (Robert Ryan) emerges, intent on making the turncoat pay for his betrayal. As Joe closes in on Frank, the traitor goes into hiding, abandoning his wife, Edith (Janet Leigh), who has no clue about her husband's wartime transgressions.''
Rating out of 5:
Comments: I watched ''Act of Violence'' late last night on T.C.M. on demand & enjoyed it. This movie is depressing I will say. For example there was a scene where Joe tried to get hit by a train. Things were incredible inexpensive back when this was filmed. It costs $3 to rent a cabin, 40 cents for beer, $1 for bait, & $2.25 to rent a boat in it. I do recommend watching ''Act of Violence''. It's well acted. I watched it to see Janet Leigh act & she did well in her role I think. All the actors in this movie I believe did terrific.

Escape Room-Tournament of Champions-not much to say about it….the first one was much better. This one definitely seemed rushed for no reason….I would recommend the first one probably skip this one

Thor:Love and Thunder-I enjoyed it of course! Chris Hemsworth is always excellent as Thor! Great action and awesome music!

Glad that you enjoyed seeing that film. I watched ''Blonde Crazy'' this week on T.C.M. on T.C.M. on demand & it was good I think.

Movie: ''Blonde Crazy''
Year Released: 1931
Starring: James Cagney, Joan Blondell, Ray Milland, & Noel Francis, among others.
Plot: ''At a hotel, conniving bellhop Bert Harris has a finger in every pie. When he enlists his girlfriend Ann as a partner in his profession of con man, Most of the victims they fleece are lawbreakers themselves. Soon, they end up being conned too.''
Rating out of 5 4.
Comments: ''Blonde Crazy'' was Jimmy Cagney's 3rd film appearance & he did terrific in it I think. In 1 scene Anne played by Joan Blondell said to Bert played by Cagney: ''You know, you make me sick.'' His response was: ''You mean that blonde makes you sick.'' Then he started laughing at his own joke. Also, in Anne was allowed to visit Bert inside his jail cell. They even kissed briefly before visiting time was over.
