Twins {1988}

One of my favorite movies is the movie Twins that was directed by Ivan Reitman and debuted in 1988 and every time I watch it Twins always makes me giggle with delight because Danny DeVito is a genius and is so funny to watch
Did you ever see the 1988 movie Twins?

Hi Amapola :wave:

I haven't seen it, but I've heard of it :nod: Arnold Schwartzenegger and Danny DeVito playing twins separated at birth :lol: Both funny actors.

Here's the trailer:

For future reference Amapola, any time you post a new thread, please post the link to it in the Board Guide topped thread :flowers: so that I (or Millie) can add it to the Guide (I've done it for you, and you can now find this thread under the 'T' section) :high_five:

So, they are complete opposite personalities? How do they find each other again? :wiggle:

I got Twins for my birthday years ago and I was surprised that it was a great movie and very funny. My favorite scene in Twins is when the character Julius tries to drive Danny DeVito's character Vince's car and ends up driving wild in the Vons parking lot and also the scene where the twin girls try to decide what kind of cake to bake for Vince while shopping at Vons

:lol: sounds like a fun movie. I liked Arnold in 'Jingle All The Way', I was surprised how funny he is; same goes for Danny in 'Matilda'.

I like the concept of this movie; two different personalities having to come together as brothers after years of separation.

I love Jingle All The Way too! I have the DVD

I've never seen Twins before, but I have heard of it. It sounds like a funny movie

It was really funny! :nod: I didn't expect Arnold to be so good as equally dramatic and comedic. It proves you shouldn't typecast people (I'd always thought of him as the robotic performer from Terminator)

I'd like to see it :) It sounds like a male version of 'The Parent Trap'. Twins separated who are totally different and clash when they find each other again

Yeah I try not to type cast actresses/actors.

I think he's severely underrated. Probably because when you play an antagonist, people only expect to see that person in that same role over and over :nod:

Yeah I know a few type casted actors/actresses and I actually hate it when they are and I think a lot of them don't like it either.

I'll try and rent it soon! :nod: I can imagine they'd be a wacky comedy duo. DeVito was brilliant in 'Matilda'

My favourite Devito role is him as Penguin in "Batman", but Twins was just fun and the stupid confused look Arnold sports on his face at times is so funny! :lmao:
