Yeah, the second film is the best one IMO. Still stand by saying Spiderman 3 gets too much hate, I still like it. I can't wait to see what more J. Jonah Jamison will do in MCU's Spiderman 3. It's so great they got him back! It still hurts to see Stan Lee cameos. I think it's been a year since he passed away, which is crazy. Feels like it just happened, still miss him.

oh man you’re right

I thought he passed away at the beginning of this year

re-watching the original movie tonight I liked the Jekyll/Hyde-ness aspect of the Green Goblin character

and this scene

copying this comment on that video

Quote:
The thing I love about this scene is that she was almost crying when she got out of the house and Peter cheered her up. When she opened up and said she wanted to act on stage, his reaction was very meaningful to her, I believe he's the first person who supported her dream, because of her face... she's surprised. Her parents probably didn't support her, and her friends also i bet they didn't believe in her.
I love how supportive he is of her and believes in her dreams

it’s too bad some of this disappeared in the 3rd movie

I wonder how much he will be in the future Spiderman films, but I'm glad they brought him back. He was great as J. Jonah Jameson in the SR films.

i love the first Spiderman film with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone but i really dislike the second one, only watched it once. it's too convoluted, too depressing, and they made a colossal mistake by deleting the Shailene Woodley as MJ scene.

i'll stick with the Marvel SP films with Tom.

Yeah, TASM2 is a mess lol. Everyone bashes Spiderman 3 but TASM2 is the worst Spiderman film. I'm glad Marvel is doing the Spiderman movies again and that Sony isn't in complete control (Cause when they are, the series turns to crap) and I'll be glad when they eventually get Spiderman back completely.

I did like the first TASM for what it was (I actually saw it in theaters 8 summers ago now) - wow time flies

Dave - do you like the Raimi trilogy?

I still remember seeing Spider-Man 3 in IMAX and it was quite an experience for 11-year-old me (that was the only one of the Raimi trilogy that I saw in theaters)

I saw all the Spiderman films in theaters except for the very first SR Spiderman film lol. Nowadays usually only comic book films are the ones I will usually see opening weekend. God I miss seeing movies SMH.

I almost saw TASM 2 in theaters for my birthday that year but thankfully I saved my money and looks like I dodged a bullet there

so I’ve only seen Spider-Man 3 and TASM in theaters
