I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it, The Painted Veil [2006] starring the ALWAYS great (but perhaps better than ever here) Edward Norton and Naomi Watts -
They have simmering sexual chemistry, and it's a great life lesson in how a marriage is never too late to be saved if you try hard enough to get to know the person beyond the mere outward appearances. They cut themselves off from society and begin again -- in a whirlwind age of War and restoration of community -- to a point where their selfless acts for each other change their lives in a short amount of time. Also, their love scene is one of the most beautifully understated cinematic screen moments of all time. The suspense in how they observe each other for some time before the moment comes, and how Kitty catches him staring then boldly undresses... It marks a new chapter for them and they never look back. __________________

Solid advice as always from Carrie I miss her.
I never cared much for the romance arc in Moulin Rouge! but sometimes I can find myself endearing to it. The film is so beautiful to look at and they have a lot of the romantic scenes take place in an Elephant set that is so elegantly decorated __________________

Currently watching Notting Hill for the first time
About 45 minutes in And I find this movie to be sweet I knew that I would find this movie charming once they started playing the instrumental music which I really loved and the introduction of the setting with the voiceover was surprised that the characters kissed for the first time so quickly |

^ I don’t believe I had even heard of the movie before but came across it on Netflix and decided to watch it on a whim which is how I like to watch movies sometimes and be pleasantly surprised which I did
I ended up liking this movie quite a bit |
