Johnny will always have the respect of true fans and the people who know him best -- the people who TRULY know him as a person, and also the people who adore his brilliant acting over the years.

Jack Sparrow is a legend of cinematic characters because of how believable and passionate Johnny played him.

Amber is trying to destroy the public's image of him, but only the people who want to believe the worst in someone will allow that to happen. I'm not one of those.

I always had mixed feelings about the third movie

Found it kind boring, plus I was annoyed the writers just dropped the obvious love triangle tension (but I took that as Disney just being soft and afraid to have Jack and Will as rivals in that way)

I think it was more fandom of Will/Elizabeth where I liked her with both

and also still need to see F9

even if before I was MIA cause of my cancer diagnosis and the anti-steroid

that once was out of the "fog" and came back to

^ That's great to hear. Johnny gave this series its recognition in the first place, he was Oscar nominated... The idea that the crew would let online gossip destroy his name is insane, and would have changed my entire opinion of these films.

I stopped liking them after the second movie, but Johnny still deserves the majority of credit so I'm glad this is being reiterated and he's apparently getting another chance.
