I kinda want to see this movie. It looks good by the preview and I always enjoy Brad Pitt's work. |

I just saw the trailer tonight before "National Treasure", and it looked really good. I missed Ocean's 11 when it was in theaters. It will probably be my next rental.

I saw this yesterday. I never really thought the first one was great, but Ocean's 12 I though was hilarious. The comedy is funnier, sharper and smarter... And the whole 'Julia Roberts' senario was too funny!

Of course I liked the first one better. I thought this was one was just a little slow. The pacing, for me, could've been better. But everyone was right on and I just had a blast! It didn't dissapoint! And though this is a Spoilers thread I'll keep quiet until more of you get to see it! __________________

I agree with the posts above, it was definitely sharper and at most times, funnier. One of my friend's didn't get several of the jokes because it references to the last movie a bit, but other than that it's brilliant.
Like Ocean's 11, it really makes you think and only reveals how it all falls together at the end. I loved the whole Julia Roberts idea. Brilliant! |

Ohhhhh I forgot to say that I really HATED HATED HATED Catherine Zeta Jones in this movie.
It felt forced, wrong and just plain boring. They could've gotten anyone to play this and I would've been satisfied but Catherine just didn't click, in my opinion, she just ate up the whole charisma of the movie. Her character is annoying and pretty much useless, and Catherine herself just doesn't have it for this movie. Everytime Julia returned to the screen you could hear me sigh in relief. And I love Catherine But not in this. __________________

The movie rocked. Saw it today, and, loved it.
The Julia Roberts thing was priceless. Matt, Brad, and George have great chemistry. Loved the scene with Rusty and Danny on the couch watching tv. Great stuff! __________________

I liked it, but the first one is better. I think actually pulling off a casino heist is a little more interesting than having to pay back debt. I loved the Juila Roberts thing, I wonder who came up with the idea. I also wonder if she knew Bruce Willis was going to show up because she looked surpired for real when she saw him.
Anyway the Night Fox was kinda annoying and it bother me that he was willing to make his ego happy at the expense of so many people lives. I am a fan of Catherine but she could have done better. Anywho... PeroxidePhony here what happen. The older french thief that consider the best in the world is Isabel's father. He was good friends of Danny and Rusty. He wanted them to win over the Night Fox, so he told them where the real egg would be. The museum makes a bunch of decoys to protect the real one. Anyway the museum pretended to send the egg in the truck when really they sent it by guy with backpack. So Danny and the gang know that the real egg is on the train. Linus, Danny, Basher, and Turk get on train as well; Linus has the same exact backpack with a fake egg inside. Danny and Turk start a diversion while Linus with his quick hands switches the back packs. Night Fox doesn't know this so he steals their fake and switches it with a fake he made. It very important that he thinks he has won. Because if he had known he might not have paid off Bendict and then they would be dead. So to carry on the charade that he has won they pretend to steal it again. But because the Night Fox doesn't know that they have won he does everything in his power to cheat so they won't. So they get thrown in jail I think half purpose/half accidental. Bruiser from the first movie gets Frank out of jail and Linus's mother comes and gets the rest of them. I think this was all part of the plan because it gets Isabel to go off with Rusty to see her father and makes the Night Fox thinks he won. So Danny and Tess goes to the Night Fox home and let him think he has beaten them. Then they reveal how they really won and he pays off Bendict. I hope that helps any. __________________

Ok, so I saw Ocean's 12 Sat, & thought it was actually a good sequel, but I still prefer the first one. I loved Matt Damon as Linus Caldwell again, he's my fav. Ocean, how cute is he in this role?! The part where they go to talk to that guy who plays Hagrid in the HP movies & he had no idea what to say was hilarious!
And yes the whole Julia Roberts as Tess Ocean as Julia Roberts thing was friggin' priceless, I loved it! That is actuall something that could have been totally cheesy & made the movie suck, but they made it work & I was rolling! I do however, think Catherine's character added nothing whatsoever to the movie, I mean, she wasn't bad or anything, I just think it could have been good w/ or w/o her. |

I thought the movie was pretty good. The humor was right on and had me laughing my butt off. But the plot could have been better. I definitely preferred the first one.
The Julia Roberts part was a bit odd for me. It added some good comedy, but I'm not sure if it really clicked (although the "Danny" part was great, since her husband in the movie and in real life is named Danny). And Catherine Zeta Jones was HORRIBLE. I hated her in it. Not to mention, she had way too much screen time. Especially considering some of the core characters got jipped (like Bernie Mac's character... he was barely in it at all!). I think they could have cast someone better. She just didn't work. Overall, I liked it. It didn't really live up to my expectations, as most sequels don't, but it wasn't bad. And I thought the addition of Bruce Willis was awesome. __________________

I saw it over the weekend and didn’t like it at all. I was very disappointed. I loved the first one so I thought the sequel would be just as good but it didn’t do it for me. I actually fell asleep during it. I think it was boring and the premise is what killed the movie in my opinion. I didn’t like the fact that they had to come up with a way to pay the movie back. The sequel should have been about something completely different. Catherine Zeta Jones didn’t help the movie either. I definitely wish I had waited for it to come to video.

I loved Ocean's Twelve so much it was AWSOME!!! It was really funny. Brad,George and Matt are so great together you can really see how close they are they are really funny together. I still can't decide if I like Ocean's Eleven or Ocean's Twelve better they are both my favorite movies. I want Ocean's Twelve to come out on DVD really soon even though I know it isn't going to b/c it is still in theaters LOL!! I really liked Catherine Zeta-Jones in the movie i thought her and Brad were great together. I hope they make an Ocean's Thirteen I actually read in a magazine that they were going to make one but i don't know if it's true I hope it is.
