I feel as if the whole of Riverdale rested on Betty and Archie rekindling what was always simmering underneath, kind of like Noah/Allie. So for them to be denied that in the end just felt so unsatisfying. :pout: Noah and Allie literally died with each other. Very sad but the ultimate soulmates love. B/A should've been the same.

Okay this rooftop bathtub scene was 100% not in the deleted scenes. Did they just shoot this for a promo still? :bawl:

Yeah I guess

I haven’t seen it in the deleted scenes

Maybe it was something they test-tried but they didn't feel merited being in the movie

I think I remember Cassavetes saying they shot all the 7 years later scenes at the beginning (everything with scruffy looking Noah )

Had a good time re-watching the notebook on the big screen today

it was a 20th anniversary screening

was already crying at the beginning and ended up crying a lot more the rest of the movie

Thank god I brought tissues lol

loved seeing Ryan and Rachel together on the big screen especially with the romantic music

It was a true theatrical experience

definitely my favorite part of the movie was getting to see Rachel and Ryan together on the big screen

and I'm glad I brought enough tissue lol

the romantic instrumental music when their characters finally reunite is definitely a lot more theatrical in an actual theater like I get the full impact of it

Alison...if you could jump into The Notebook movie as a character and affect the plot...would you make it a happier ending or leave it alone?

atwoodsmariano 03-11-2024 02:29 PM

Satisfied with the ending
