Aww "happier movie ending"

I always felt that way as a kid, but one thing I can say about the conclusion is that Anna's character learns a lot from losing her best friend and it helps her to rise about the heartache of crushing on her teacher AND accept Jamie Lee Curtis' character as her future step-mother.

Also... Dare I say I kinda liked the sequel? Unpopular opinion I know, but I liked that her uncle appeared in so much of it, and I also thought she had good chemistry with the boy who she kissed in the end.

I’ve only seen 2 parts from the 2nd movie - the part where she’s reminiscing and talking about Thomas J. and what the ring means to her to that boy (idk his name) and the end (that scene that you mentioned)

Her and Jamie had a nice chemistry in the scene where she brushes her hair in the bedroom.

Yes I admit, I liked that she got a boyfriend in the sequel The scene where they kiss at the airport is ten times better than the cringe-fest of similar scenes in Love Actually.
