Frodo(Elijah Woods) and Sam(Sean Astin) in The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. Sam is the epitomy of what a friend should be. Loyal and trustworthy to the end!

I agree about Frodo and Sam's friendship. I guess everyone would like to have a friend like Sam.

I also liked Wolverine and Rogue's friendship in X-Men, Simba and Nala's in the Lion King, Mia and Lilly's in The Princess Diaries ... I think it's all for now.

You know, re-reading my previous post I have no idea what the hell I was talking about. I mean, I can't stand Forest Gump!

I must have been in a super good mood or just misread the posts...

But I still stick with Damiel and Cassiel of Wings of Desire, and I'd like to add Danny Lee and Chow-Yun Fat's characters from The Killer. Best.buddy.bonding.movie.ever.

I totally get you, Shr. It has happened to me!

I initially thought of the St. Elmo's Fire gang. Those were some pretty funny but charming relationships! I so need to get this on DVD. Especially since I finish college next year...

The four boys in Stand By Me. For me, no friendship has come close to how strong their's was.

First and foremost, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants! The best-friendship between the four is just so beautiful..

Ladder 49 - Jack and Mike, the fire chief.

Beaches - CC and Hilary

The Stepford Wives - Nicole Kidman's character, Bette Midler's character, and the gay guy! a definate friendship between the three

ITA!

I also loved the friendships in Beaches and My Girl. I know there are so many more but those are the ones that were really touching to me.

The girls in Now and Then have the best kind of friendship. It's so innocent, and they are so protective of each other. Real true friends.

Also Vada and Thomas J in My Girl

and totally agree with Pirates Of Carribean

I just finished watching Toy Story, and i forgot how great the friendship between Buzz and Woody was. Which was expanded even more throughout Toy Story 2.

I agree with Frodo and Sam. The whole fellowship was strong, but those two were paramount.

I also like the friendship between Adrian Brody and Milla Jovovich (sp?) in Dummy. It's kinda odd, but it's good underneath the crazy exterior.

And of course, Harry and Sally in When Harry Met Sally.

Rick & Renault in Casablanca!

They have a hilarious relationship and I always love when Rick shoots the cop in front of Renault and then Renault looks at the other cops who come running and says with a smirk, "a cop has been shot... Round up the usual suspects"

Also in Casablance Rick & Sam have a good relationship, almost brotherly.
