Exactly. I like to continue the flow of conversation. That's about as pointless as someone texting you back "ok/okay". Just don't respond at all if you have nothing to say, lol (of course, for post counts, i'd rather have a smiley face than nothing at all....though it's somewhere in the rules that a smiley face doesn't count as a post but I don't know any mods who will delete that just because it's not like giving someone the finger....a smiley face is a nice thing)
