I am excited for this. I've been in a love affair with Tom Hanks for as long as I can remember... I haven't read the story but I love Xmas like I did when I was 5 so this should be a treat for all the right reasons.

Tom Hanks actually does four of the voices... Which I think is a little overkill to be honest.

Of course, Hanks is S.A.G. That means he can get paid FOUR TIMES for FOUR ROLES.

Xmas IS good, isn't it?

Hi USM and all,

I saw Polar Express yesterday and left unimpressed. It was beautiful to look at--I love trains and the Christmassy atmosphere, but the movie was...eh. I didn't like the characters. It felt very cold (no pun intended), there was no real conflict, the story seemed to meander....

For a movie supposedly all about believing in yourself--The Polar Express had no heart to it. It's a shame, b/c it was a movie I was looking forward to get me into the holiday spirit, but I was unmoved.

Unsilentmajority, I remember you from the Roswell days (ugh), and it's nice to see that you're still around.

Actually, he's 6 of the voices: The Father, The Boy, The Conductor, The HoBo, Santa Clause & , Scrooge

Although, I still don't know who that last one is, lol. I saw the movie today, & it was such an amazing masterpiece of art to look at! It made me want to believe again, so badly! I mainly saw it b/c I have every single one of Tom Hanks movies, he's my fav. acclaimed actor! But I also still love the book, & the movie was beautiful!

I adored him when I was little and he was in Bosom Buddies.

This looks good. I love Tom, he's one of my fav actors.

I bet I have read the book because I've always been a big reader. I can't really remember though.

Oh, if you liked him in Bossom Buddies, then you should like this movie, Peter Scarlie (sp), plays Billy.

I absolutely love this movie.

I saw it in 3-D in the IMAX theater...but I know for a fact that either way its a beautiful movie.

I am in love with it and will most likely go see it again before it leaves the theaters...it's amazing.

I love Billy. Utterly adorable...and Tom Hanks does a fantastic job and I just love him.
