The Lovely Bones (2009) #1: "My name is Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie."
Synopsis: Based on the best selling book by Alice Sebold, The Lovely Bones is the story of a 14-year-old girl from suburban Pennsylvania who is murdered by her neighbor. I really want to see this. I love the novel. The first time I read it, the story just stuck with me so I can't wait to see it on a movie screen

I'd definitely recommend it. I was super worried about seeing the film because I cherish the novel but it captured the essence of the novel for the most part.

Saoirse Ronan is such a lovely, talented girl! She has this haunting voice. I am so excited to see what she'll do next. Here she is in the George Lopez show with her cute accent and how to pronounce her name.

Just saw the movie the other night, like a lot of you said, the book was better but the movie was still very powerful. I loved the scenery of heaven.

The scenes of her in heaven or the in between were very beautiful and powerful, like you felt everything.

I saw this movie and it really wasn't what I expected. It did have beautiful scenes and I did enjoy the movie, but I went into it thinking it was just going to be something a little different.
