has anyone seen Alien vs. Predator (2004) yet? i just came back from watching it. the movie is wicked and it keeps u on your seats...and i gotta admit...in some scenes..scared the crap out of me. but i'm happy with the ending..and the one i rooted for won.

btw, those Aliens are friggin ugly...i have never seen the Aliens trilogy..but i have seen them. but to see them up close...they are like 10 times uglier than Predator and much more nastier.

anyways..post comments, reviews, what u liked about it. i'll post my spoilers some other time.

I saw the first show on friday.

I gotta say, at first I was like, The Predators own the Aliens, i mean hell, they had a QUEEN caged up.

Then, they started to fight, and the first two predators got punked hardcore. I was like, holy hell.

The third predator was a pimp. He was a hardcore ass mug. The theater was cheering when he got some action, with the killing of the Parasidal Aliens and then the Warrior Alien. He was solid. Then once he got his shoulder weapon, he just rocked hard, and put up a good fight vs the Queen.

In the end, yeah Predators own the Aliens, but ya know, don't sleep. It turned out to be an Alien win actually, as the mission was for the Predators to fullfiull their Rites of PAssage, and none survived. AND the one having to use his Nuke.

I thought it was a good enough movie, i'll probably see it again in a couple weeks when everything settles down.

The Pryamid moving was a nice mix.

That is what I said about it being "PG-13".

That is an insult to the fans of this hardcore, in-your-face, sci-fi HORROR trilogy.

I know I always talk about the ratings of movies and I KNOW that it doesn't determine if a movie is good or not... But dammitt, most of the Aliens/Predator fans are ADULTS (around 30 years old now) who grew up with BOTH series!

As the first poster said, he/she hasn't even SEEN the first Aliens QUADRILOGY and this is what irks me the most. Grr...

Anyway, I'll probably catch it on DVD...

It actually played out well though. Wasn't as gruesome as it could have been, but it wasn't as toned down as it could have been.

When the second Predator bite the dust, the alien skull fcuked him with that extended mouth and we saw the Neon blood everywhere and when Badass #3 cut the aliens skull open, we saw the alien brains there, some stuff that you'd definately see in an R version.

I saw this movie last night. It was predictable but really entertaining. I wanted it to be a little more bloody though. Here, it's 14A

I agree. It coulda used a bit more blood, but it was a good ride. Not as great as the original movies, but good.
