GoldenEye was pretty good

the movie dragged a bit in some places but I liked the overall plot more than Tomorrow Never Dies and the whole WWII background with Russia/the Soviet Union and the Cossacks

I liked the big chase scene in Tomorrow Never Dies more

also liked Natalya and how she was a programmer

the way Onatopp would get so excited/*orny (almost high) over killing/torturing her victims (she was crazy/a psychopath)

That's exactly why I'm opposed to this type of recasting. Once you open that door you can't close it again, and you'll only end up alienating people. Having a black female 007 might be seen as giving representation to people who have been marginalized, but what happens after that? What if someone says, "when do we get Bond back?" Like I said before, the character is basically now on loan, and sooner or later people are gonna want the character back, but then the other group is going to feel slighted because they want to keep their character, and it just becomes a mess. This is why they should create new characters instead of redistributing established ones.
I agree with every letter you typed. It feels like they are going after an audience that simply does not like Bond.

It's not one of my favourites, though it rates highly among fans in general. I can't help but wish Dalton had got his 3rd film.

Which is you favourite so far?

If we’re talking about which was more fun to watch I think I have to go with Tomorrow Never Dies actually.

I felt like GoldenEye lagged more and was a bit too long but I felt like the plot was better executed.

Am I making any sense?

Yes, you are making perfect sense. Personally, I prefer TND, but GE is held up higher across the fandom.

Sorry, I should have been more clear, what is your favourite Bond film overall?

unpopular opinion but I like Spectre more than Skyfall

actually still need to see Casino Royale; I didn’t like Quantum of Solace

I guess Spectre or Tomorrow Never Dies as in which I would rather re-watch

It is an unpopular opion, but it is one I share. SF is a better made film, but SP feels more like a Bond film (a flawed one, but still).

QOS is my least favourite (official) Bond film. But again, there are fans out there that like it.

Happy global James Bond day. 57 years ago today, Dr No was released in cinemas. To celebrate, they have unveiled the NTTD teaser poser...

I don't like it. But the teaser trailer is expected soon...

Teaser posters can be basic To me, the font is kinda bizarre "Time" looks more like "Take"

Well I saw it on the big screen back in 2002, and I remember leaving the cinema thinking wtf have they done? However, over the last 17 years, my feelings have shifted. With the exception of Madonna's title track (techno has no place in Bond), I think it is a perfectly fine Bond film up until Bond reaches Cuba. It levels off, and then starts to go downhill from there.

The CGI kitesurfing scene was ridiculous. As was Graves' electric armour.
