This movie has mainly been a film festival movie, but it's finally hitting the big screen. It was shown at the Tribeca Film Festival, Newport International Film Festival, Filmfest Hamburg, Rome Film Festival, Whistler Film Festival, US Comedy Arts Festival Aspen.

It's already won awards. Best Actor Award for Jay Baruchel as Reed Fish at the 2007 HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Pretty cool, eh? ;)

It should open around June 1st and i'm so excited. I'm mainly excited because of Schuyler Fisk, but I think the movie is going to be awesome.

Wow, thanks for putting that up. I wouldn't have even checked it out, but turns out a few actors/actresses I like are in it and now I'll definitely have to give it a go :). It probably won't get to Australia until like 2010 but never mind.

On a side note; can someone remind me of what I've seen Schuyler Fisk in?

She was in that Orange County movie with Colin Hanks.

Aha, it was Orange County that I remember seeing her in. And more embarassingly - The BabySitter's Club :lol:. It really is an excellent cast, I'll even stomach Alexis Bledel for the sake of the rest of them.

I'm glad you posted about this movie here! I really hope that I will get to see it in the theatre. I have been looking forward to seeing this movie since I first heard about it last year!

I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie too. Mainly because of Alexis :D but it does seem like a fun and unique movie otherwise too.

Two new release cities have been announced as well. The movie will be released June 8th in Portland, OR and Austin, TX.

a reminder that Alexis Bledel will be on The Late Show with David Letterman Friday May 25th. She'll talk about the movie and even show a clip!

I want to see this. :) The story sounds a little too familiar, but it looks very organic. I'm interested.
