I love the first 2 Home Alone movies with Macaulay Culkin and the other original casts
 but all the subsequent sequels with all the new casts and characters never measured up to the first 2, the first 2 with Macaulay and the other original casts are still leaps and bounds better than the later sequels. |

^^ I agree, I think they were just trying to cash in the success of the first two but they would never measure up.

I totally agree with that, Linda
I watched some of the 3rd (or maybe it was the 4th) one and there's just no heart there. In fact, it felt like very forced comedy that was trying to copy the others except you're watching new casts struggling to re-do what was already done perfectly by Macaulay, Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci in the originals.__________________
