James McAvoy as Bilbo would be amazing!

I have been meaning to watch Fellowship, it makes me excited for this movie too!

About the casting, I've heard in interviews that they've been talking with Viggo Mortensen and Ron Perlman. Nothing's confirmed but Jackson showed interest on working with Viggo again and Del Toro has been working with Ron for ages.

I don't want Viggo in it, unless he's in the second. I only want him to be Aragorn (way too confusing otherwise) and Aragorn wasn't in The Hobbit.

Perlmon could be a dwarf

yeah i have to agree...as much as i freaking love Viggo, he is Aragorn. I couldn't see him as Bilbo

The Hobbit is one of my favorite books & I am so excited if this movie actually happens. I have heard many rumors about this movie but I am afraid the movie is not going to happen.

He Rachel! I know how you feel. I've never read any of the books, but I also fear that the movies will fall through. Hopefully it doesn't and a few years from now we'll be able to see the finished product. *crosses fingers*
