I know people have been hearing about this comedy..i am dying to see it..it looks soo funny.It comes out feb.20th..GO AND CHECK IT OUT!! it stars Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts,Michelle Trachtenberg,and Travis Wester...

When Scotty's German online pen pal suggests they meet, he initially freaks out. But then he discovers that she's gorgeous, and heads out with three friends after graduation to meet her. As they travel across Europe, the four friends have comical misadventures.

I've seen the promos finally! I have been hearing about it for months because Michelle Trachtenberg is in it. Now... It does look funny though I'll probably see it to support Michelle. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Second... The movie does look funny.

Even with all the stereotypes and cliched sight gags -- like the guys going to a nude beach in search of chicks -- I think the execution is what makes or breaks a film like this since it doesn't matter if we've seen these kinds of jokes and crude humor a thousand times before in different films; what matters is that this movie takes those elements and does them so well that you can't but help laugh like the Italian guy on the train, the French Mime and the Crazy British guy [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

I know the gags in the film look so funny.even when the twins are kissing and not knowing.. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] the italian guy hitting on the guys and not the girl.. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

I wanna see this so bad! I wasn't too fond of Michelle's character Dawn in Buffy because she was so whiny. But Michelle looks really funny in this. The twins kissing was so funny! "You were kissing your sister!" [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] Too funny!

From the people that brought you “Cat in the Hat”, the worst film from last year, comes one of the funniest films to hit the big screen in a long time. Following the plot points of “Road Trip”, “Eurotrip” follows four naïve Americas as they trek through Europe on their quest to find a girl. “Eurotrip” isn’t so much about plot but how our hero’s stubble from one country to the next causing mischief and trouble.

“Eurotrip” plays fast and loose with its stereotypes so it never falls into mean-spirited or spiteful. England has its soccer hooligans. France has its sidewalk performers and long lines. Amsterdam has its drug culture and sex theatres. Germany has Hitler jokes and Eastern Europe is dirt poor. All the stereotypes, “Eurotrip” uses are easily identifiable and play on our stigmas. The film is straight comedy taking each joke its fullest extent.

Scott (Scott Mechlowicz) gets dumped by his girlfriend on the same day he graduates from high school. He’s all ready to spend the summer working for his dad. After a drunken party, Scott decides to head off to Europe with his best friend Cooper (Jacob Pitts) to find his pen pal. While in Europe he meets up with the worst twins in the world, Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg) and Jamie (Travis Wester). Together they set off from Paris to Berlin with stop off’s in Amsterdam, Eastern Europe and a French fishing village.

Director Jeff Schaffer keeps the film moving forward and keeps the laughs flowing till the trite and predictable end. All the actors do a fine job but the stand out is Michelle Trachtenberg. No longer Buffy’s little sister, Trachtenberg comes out of her shell and really shines as sexy ingénue. Her Absinthe-fueled incest sequence definitely takes her out Nickelodeon territory and places her firmly in the up and coming young adult crowd.

The screenwriting team plays largely on the mistrust of Americas have against the Europeans. The only stereotype they didn’t manage to work in is Swedish sex starlet but hey there is always “Eurotrip 2”. Movies like “Road Trip”, “Old School” and “Eurotrip” aren’t judged by coherent plotlines but by how much you’ll laugh. By this standard “Eurotrip” is a smashing success. Get your passport and be prepared to enjoy one wild, sexy, irreverent European trip.

I can*t wait to see this... it comes out this Friday!!! I got all excited last Friday, because my husbands in the army, and they usually release movies a week early on base.. but they didn*t release this one... I was sooo mad!!

omg omg i saw eurotrip last night.it was great!!i absolutely loved the movie.it was hysterical.. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] i so can't wait for this movie to come out on dvd and i am sure it will be unrated.. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I wasn't going to watch this until it comes out on video/DVD but after reading some reviews and hearing ppl talk about it, I may go see it some time next week. The trailer does look funny... [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]
